I’m pretty much done with current WWE. I love the product from 87-2002ish and will happily watch that again and again.
Watching Hogan v. Andre for the millionth time is more entertaining to me than anything anyone is doing today.

Definitely. I became a fan in the mid 80’s when I was a kid. MASSIVE fan up until it stopped being shown in our local TV which I think was around Wrestlemania 10. Then it slipped away. I would watch DVDs every now and then, but not as much as before.
Got back in around The Invasion. But then started getting into the independents and puro. That really jumped start my happiness in wrestling in a big way. When WWE started signing the likes of CM Punk and guys I liked from the indies, I was hooked on WWE again. Since then I’ve had ups and downs. The downs I just come here to see what’s going on. But I rarely miss NXT.
I think wrestling will always have a special spot here with me.

For WWE? Definitely. It's just painfully long and insanely boring. Faces are idiots, and heels act like 12-year old bullies. It's insulting even to kids.
It's ridiculously predictable. I can't watch two people fight over and over and over and over, for months over the most idiotic and lame reasons.
Every match and promo is cookie cutter paint by number bullshit. Nobody is allowed to have any kind of character outside of "good wrestler/athlete." And while I don't mind them as much as some; Charlotte and Corbin, or as I call them...C & C Boring Factory...have dominated every show they've been on. Especially Charlotte.
I get much more entertainment from AEW, which unfortunately takes me away from NXT. But Raw & SmackDown? Yeah, I haven't watched a full episode of that bullshit in months. Probably almost a year or so. And these empty arena shows are straight garbage.

In terms of WWE, I only watch the clips and, even then, it's only of people that I like, which isn't that many. But I don't have the attention span to sit through 3 hours of RAW, for example.

I’m pretty much done with current WWE. I love the product from 87-2002ish and will happily watch that again and again. Watching Hogan v. Andre for the millionth time is more entertaining to me than anything anyone is doing today. I second that. Me and my brother grew up on wrestling(mostly WWF) that our dad got us into. He even took us to the wrestling events. I met various wrestlers as well(most notably Hulk Hogan and John Cena before he got big), and have been to three Wrestlemanias. I even dreamed one day of being a WWF/E superstar growing up. Hell, I even got picked up a bit in school for my love of wrestling. Even long after the Attitude Era, I still watched it even though none of my other same age friends and peers did and when I tried to tell them the latest ongoings at the time, I got responses like "who cares" and "you still watch that shit?" Still though, I was pretty into it throughout the 2000s, but my interest trailed off by the end of the decade with Wrestlemania 25(I refuse to call it the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania) being the final blow. I stopped watching for three years only to pop in for the Royal Rumbles. I got semi-back into it when my brother got me free Wrestlemania XXVII tickets and watched on and off throughout the 2010s, mostly just for Royal Rumbles and Wrestlemania. Now, I almost never bother to watch it at all and would be okay if I didn't attend a Wrestlemania again. The only knowledge I have of the current product is on here. I still like to do some research on wrestling's history and The Dark Side of The Ring is an excellent watch that I would recommend to older fans, and I like how WWE Network has hidden gems and can also find out new facts through this very board and youtube, so the interest in wrestling is still there, just not what's currently going on with WWE. So yeah, while I'll still always be connected to and follow it in some way, my peak of fandom has been long gone.

Kinda. When I was growing up, Mondays were the best night of the week because Raw was can't-miss.
Now I really only watch NXT(I flip to Dynamite occasionally, but AEW isn't really that good to me) and sometimes Raw and Smackdown if I got nothing better going on.
I still love classic 80s and 90s stuff. Attitude era promos and matches, 80s WWF, classic Japanese matches, ECW stuff, etc. Pretty much any classic Flair matches I'll watch.
I also still passionately fantasy book stuff in my head, either featuring real life wrestlers or random ones I made up. It's a really fun creative exercise.
But outside of NXT, and some standouts from Raw like McIntyre, Lashley, Orton and the women's division, it's really hard for me to care about any current wrestling like I used to.

I still love wrestling as much as I ever have, but my passion for WWE has been at an all-time low since Mania 34. I'll still check out promos and matches from the wrestlers I care about, and will watch PPVs with friends, but the days of me considering myself a genuine fan of WWE are long gone.

Been a fan since the 80's, don't even watch anymore. I still check this board every now and then, but it died when they banned diva pics.

I did back in like 2018, been hard to get back into but I watch some things. Been watching religiously since 2001, but now it’s just so stale. Also could be that I started a family and wrestling just isn’t as important to me as it once was.

Yep.
There's 2 time periods for me. I'll start off by saying that I started watching around the New Generation era with Bret, HBK and Taker.
2006 through mid-2011. The Pipebomb pulled me back in. I stopped watching due to the fact that I got a job, started being out in the streets more with the homies, just explored life a bit more so wrestling was always on the backburner. Sure, I heard of things happening but I didn't give a damn about it.
Now. Once AEW started and then the whole "WWE/AEW" wars really kicked up not only with the companies but with fans, once the products weren't interesting me as much as before due to booking and lack of change, once I started focusing on my career more than wrestling, then with this whole Covid-19 thing and more things happening in real life which we're banned from talking about on this forum, yeah. I just don't care as much as I used to and it's about the least most interesting thing in my mind. I barely care to be honest. Sure, I'll keep up with the results of major shows. I might watch a major ppv but when it comes to turning to a show to watch when it airs, online discussions, "hey this company versus this company", "WWE is so horribly bad", "man did you see what just hap-", nah bruh. I don't care about any arguments, wars, versus battles between companies and fans which one side pretends to be the Babyface of the whole thing when really they're the Teddy Riley, nope. That whole thing is lame to me engagement-wise personally.
NXT is something in which I'm more interested in. I'll watch something from there when I feel an itch but it's not like it used to be.
So yeah, that's my period right now and I'm content with it. I've got way more important things going on in real life than wrestling and these wars. Hell, on this forum I'm in the Off-topic section more than everywhere else. That's just my style and the entire vibe of that section is not only the same vibe I love but it feels like the vibe this place was when I joined. Just overall a great place.
But to the topic yep and I don't regret it. I'll pop up again in the future when major things change like always but for now, I don't care.

Since the end of the Attitude Era yes I have. TO ME every RAW and ppv was must see tv. Now ?eh it is what it is. I love NXT though ! Keith Lee if booked proper on the main roster bay bring some passion back in wrestling for me.

I did, took a break for a good 3 years, then recently, during the lockdown and the Network having the free tier, I've found myself getting back in to it. Pretty much since WM I have found myself enjoying NXT and SD, and even Raw has ticked up. However, the exceptional negativity from some posters in seemingly every single thread is a real turn off, and while I have been a board member for decades, I really find myself turned off this place more than the product recently. Yeah same here man. I've got the same view as yours

I lost my passion for wwe. I stopped watching in 2004. TNA brought me back in 2007 and I'd check in on the wwe, but I wasn't going to watch constantly like I did from the mid 80's - 2003. 2009's guest host era made me quit again. I'd check it out over the years for the rock, brock, punk, AJ and kofi, but after that Raw 25 disaster I have been done with the wwe. Mlw, nwa and now Aew keep the love burning.

In terms of WWE, I think they lost their passion for wrestling.
The product has been mediocre since WCW collapsed.

I turn it on out of habit. It remains on as background noise. Occasionally, something might catch my attention, and I’ll post something in the live thread. But Even that has slowed to a trickle. And it’s not even about the quality of the product. Though some of the company’s practices have contributed to my lack of interest. There’s just a lot going on, some of it personal, that is drawing me away.

I kept abreast with the product for a few years mostly just due to this board. At some point the WWE just became too homogenized for me to enjoy.
Getting into New Japan with G1 got the itch back for me, and then when AEW became a thing I became interested again.

I've honestly felt this way since WCW died. I've regained a little bit of it back since AEW's birth and my dive into New Japan, but I can safely say if WWE closed up shop tomorrow, I wouldn't care. The writing is just so bad, there's no reason for me to be passionate or care about it. NXT used to be good, but it's awful now as well.

Yes. That's why I'm less around on the board as I'm not interested in supporting WWE or any of it's promotions so I don't watch that and I don't really have an interest in AEW and the interest I had in indie wrestling has waned recently. I lurk mostly nowadays.

I began giving up last year after 23+ years. It just stopped being fun to watch, and I don't care about a huge portion of the roster or the go-nowhere storytelling or the "PRESS THE BROCK BUTTON" approach to booking. I gradually stopped watching full shows, which lead me finally breaking appointment viewing (this was the hardest part). I've seen like maybe 6-7 shows total this year at most, none of which in-full. COVID did not help matters, but it was not the reason I fell off. I will say though that I was impressed with Kieth Lee and Angel Garza before dipping out. I hope they make it.
As much as I've grown sour with the product, some of it is just fatigue. I've seen the majority of what is capable with the medium and watched so many matches over the years that I just kinda feel burnt out. I figured taking a break was the best move, and I can still enjoy things through osmosis online. I'm out of the routine of it, so weaving in and out if something interesting happens feels less like a viewing obligation.
