Hopefully the plate is a painting of Hacksaw Jim Duggan's face.

Based on all the current designs it will look cheap and underwhelming.

It’ll be the North American title with a different colour scheme. I've never been a fan of the NA title design, so you're totally right that it will be.

It'll be the U.S. title with a new hat. Worked for Malibu Stacy.

Nah, they're saving it for the WM battle royal trophy when somehow Andre becomes a problematic icon too.

Honestly? I'm a little disappointed. It was the longest-running belt design in the company (at what? 17 years, not including logo changes?), and I tended to associate it with that early-to-mid-00s era of Smackdown when that brand could literally do no wrong. Reading this thread, I feel like I'm one of very few people who will actually miss it. Yeah, there's nothing f***ing wrong with that belt. Hell, that belt reminds me of how good the second-tier was in 2006/2007 SD: Lashley (who was the reason I got back into watching WWE so he and Booker T will have my eternal gratitude), Finlay, Mr. Kennedy, C**** B*****, MVP, and the people that challenged them and looked damn good against them. Sometimes WWE really should just leave well enough alone and here's one instance.

What's even the point of a "U.S." Title when the World Champion mostly only defends in the USA?

On the True Story of WrestleMania DVD, they actually propose WrestleMania happening on the Moon. So don’t put it passed them to try and blast someone off to Alpha Centuri.

Well, they HAVE been talking about "strapping a rocket" to someone for decades...

The US Title has needed a revamp in look for the longest time and I still expect WWE to screw it up spectacularly.

Once they the main plate bigger i thought it was one of their best looking titles. It has a simple design and conveys exactly what it's meant to be and i can't think of a single wrestler who it ever looked bad on.

I will admit that the 90s WCW US title was probably the best looking of the bunch, but this one was a very close second and I'm sad to see it go.

Ehhhhhh? There's not really anything necessarily wrong with it. It's just not really a style of belt I've ever particularly liked. Really it's bland more than anything I think. This looks like it should come with a Dollar Tree toy.
