I liked it. Hogan slightly altered his offense a but to be a power brawler instead of the tired heel shtick he had been doing. Yeah, honestly, at the time it was pretty refreshing and seemed like a way for Hogan to do something different in a new phase of his career. If I recall correctly that was all early in the New Blood angle, which for the first little while was actually pretty enjoyable if just because it felt like WCW was getting a little life shot back into it with some new featured wrestlers and a general change in Nitro's vibe. It, uh, didn't last.

If I recall correctly that was all early in the New Blood angle, which for the first little while was actually pretty enjoyable if just because it felt like WCW was getting a little life shot back into it with some new featured wrestlers and a general change in Nitro's vibe. It, uh, didn't last. Everything became a mess pretty quickly. 'Creative control' clauses started being used, plus the titles changed hands at random.
