That was the first 5 minutes of WWE I've watched since WrestleMania.
OH MY BROTHERS THIS WAS BAD.

So either Retribution, Undertaker or Duke Energy wanted us to not see Ric be punted. It was Panda Energy, Dixie needs Ric for a new project she is working on

There was nothing really personal or emotionally gripping about Orton vs Drew so now we're supposed to buy that Drew's fighting on behalf of Flair. Alrightyyyyyy then. But they stood mere metres away from each other and made super intense faces, so it's got to be personal

That show sucked. And not trainwreck good suck, just 2/10 boring I want to watch anything else suck. I want to let it be known I called it. People were expecting a promising followup to Underground and Retribution and got a wet fart. Because WWE's booking is about as consistent as a game of darts skydiving would be. Promising isn’t what I expected at all. I expected more trashy trainwreck TV I’d be embarrassed to watch with another human in the room. Instead I got a 3-hour cure for insomnia.

Well, another Raw over with. I'm heading of to bed now so I won't be too tired for my 10-hour shift lol. Anyhows, I enjoyed the Bayley/Asuka match, enjoyed the promo with Orton/Flair, Orton/Owens was alright and I had a good laugh with you guys Have a good night everyone.

That was one of the best RAW segments all year and Orton is one of the very best heels in the biz right now, if not the best. Period.

A excellent Raw besides a few things, which I will get into later. I like that they honored Kamala with the graphic at the start of the show, but I thought they would do a video too. Even if the show was taped, they could have easily edited a video into the show and taken something out for it. A really good contract signing with Dominik Mysterio & Seth Rollins. Good promo work all around & Samoa Joe was excellent as the moderator. Humberto Carrillo VS Seth Rollins was OK, but should have been longer. The beatdown on Mysterio by Rollins was good but went a little far, as it made Mysterio the underdog going into their match at SummerSlam. And I like the idea of the match being a No Disqualification since we don’t know what Mysterio can do as a wrestler yet. Zelina Vega’s promo was really good. Angelo Dawkins VS Andrade was good. Bianca Belair VS Zelina Vega was really good & I’m happy that they both were in action. Belair & Dawkins’ promo afterwards was good. MVP’s segment with Apollo Crews was good. Crews VS Shelton Benjamin was good, though short. Last week, I defended Retribution saying that we have to be patient, but this week was stupid. Shouldn’t WWE’s security be ready for them? Also, this destruction isn’t good to show right now given today’s culture. Mickie James’ return to feud with Lana & Natalya is stupid. She should be feuding with younger talent. The segment with The Viking Raiders, Cedric Alexander, & Ricochet was a waste of time. The 8-Man Tag was a waste of so many great wrestlers and was just a backdrop for the 24/7 Title Change. Liv Morgan VS Peyton Royce was a bad match. I wasn’t paying attention to Raw Underground. Asuka VS Bayley was an excellent match. The Raw Underground was a waste of time. Retribution flipping over the car was stupid. I think they need to drop this angle as soon as possible, since there are still rioting going on, like we saw this weekend in Chicago. Kevin Owens VS Randy Orton was a fun match. I think Stevie Wonder, Helen Keller, Ray Charles, & Andrea Boccelli could all see that ending coming from a 1000 Miles away. Both Orton & Flair’s promos were amazing & I love the use of the “technical glitches” to not show Flair getting kicked in the head. I am so excited for SummerSlam.
Here are the Facts & Stats for RAW: - Humberto Carrillo VS Seth Rollins was Carrillo’s 1st Raw since July 27 & his 1st Raw opener since May 18, Rollins’ 1st Raw match & opener since July 20, & was their 2nd 1-on-1 Match, as Rollins defeated Carrillo on October 21, 2019 - Angelo Dawkins VS Andrade was the 1st time since June 15 & 22 that Dawkins wrestled 2 weeks in a row & the 1st time in his career he wrestled in 2 Singles Matches back-to-back, & was the 1st time since November 4, 11, 18, 25, December 2, 9, & 16, 2019 that Andrade wrestled 7 weeks in a row on Raw - Bianca Belair VS Zelina Vega was Belair’s 1st Raw since July 13, Vega’s 1st Raw & 1st match overall since she, Angel Garza, & Austin Theory lost to Belair & The Street Profits on April 6, & was a re-match of Raw on April 6, which ended in a No Contest, - Apollo Crews VS Shelton Benjamin was the 1st time since June 22 & 29 that Crews wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time since June 15 & 22 that Benjamin wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, & was their 3rd 1-on-1 match against each other, as they wrestled on Raw on June 15 & 22, with Crews winning all of the matches, & was Benjamin’s 1st win on Raw since a 14-on-1 Handicap Match on May 5, 2008, & his 1st Singles win on Raw since he defeated Super Crazy on December 4, 2006 - Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, & The Viking Raiders VS Akira Tozawa & His Ninjas was the 8th 8-Person Tag Team Match of 2020, the 1st since Smackdown on June 26, & the 1st on Raw since June 15, Alexander, Ricochet, Erik, & Ivar’s 1st Raw since July 27, the 1st time since May 4 & 11 that Akira Tozawa wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, & was the Ninja’s 1st Raw since June 15 - R-Truth defeated Akira Tozawa was the 19th 24/7 Title Change of 2020, beginning Truth’s 8th Reign of 2020 & his 38th Overall - Liv Morgan VS Peyton Royce was the 1st time since June 15 & 22 that Morgan wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, the 1st time since July 13 & 20 that Royce wrestled 2 weeks in a row on Raw, their 2nd match against each other, as Morgan defeated Royce by Disqualification on NXT on June 16, 2016, so therefore they both have won 1 match, & was the 11th week in a row that Raw had 2 Women’s Matches, & was Royce’s 1st win since she defeated Ruby Riott on Raw on June 29 - Asuka VS Bayley was Asuka’s 1st Raw since July 27, Bayley’s 1st Raw since July 20, & was their 5th 1-on-1 match against each other, with their 1st match taking place at NXT Takeover: Dallas on April 1, 2016 & their last match taking place on Raw on July 3, 2020, with Asuka winning all 5 matches, & was the 1st Raw since July 6 to have 3 Women’s Matches - Kevin Owens VS Randy Orton was Orton’s 1st Raw match & main event since July 20 & was Owens’ 1st Raw since July 13 & his 1st main event since May 24, & was their 3rd 1-on-1 match against each other, with their 1st match taking place on Raw on July 27, 2015, which was won by Orton, & their last match taking place on Raw on February 24, 2020, which was also won by Orton, so now in their 4 matches, Owens has won 1 & Orton has won 3 - This was the 1st Raw since June 22 that Angel Garza didn’t wrestle, ending a 6 week streak, which was his 2nd longest consecutive streak on Raw after he wrestled 13 weeks in a row on Raw from April 6 to June 8

I think the problem with Raw right now was hinted at a few pages earlier. The show is so dark and bleak. Nothing happy or fun happens. We have Orton attacking his 71 year old mentor legend. A group of Antifa knockoffs doing lame attacks on people and destroying property. Guys getting poisoned. Let me just state something that I feel is obvious but WWE doesn't seem to grasp: No one cares about heels getting heat during a pandemic with the worst economic times since the Depression.

Am I the only one expecting it'll turn out to be a plan by Orton / Flair. They had the lights go out then so Orton could pretend to punt Flair, knowing it'd get blamed on Retribution. Then at SummerSlam, Flair will look like he's in Drews corner, then he'll Low Blow him or something.

Forget to mention this last night, but R-Truth winning the 24/7 Title was the 102nd 24/7 Title Change of All-Time & Tozawa was the 8th 24/7 Champion to have a 1 Week Reign after Truth's 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, & 15th Reigns, Drake Maverick's 5th Reign, & Maria Kanellis' only Reign.
