Why in the f*** would you have the face champion lose the belt after less than two months after beating a heel who'd had it for over a year? Dawg, this is actually really annoying. I f***ed with Lee and the ride’s already over. What a f***ing tease.

Big picture at least is that Lee is gonna be a big player on either RAW or SD. That’s what we think. Watch him be the #RAWUnderground Champion in three months.

Pre-Show tag match was pretty good, Finn v Thatcher was quite an enjoyable watch, ladder match was fun and it was nice to see a new name as the North American Champion, enjoyed the Io and Dakota match and I enjoyed Keith v Karrion as well.
No problem with Karrion being the new Champion but I was surprised that there was absolutely no interference from Scarlett and that he won clean as a whistle. Still, I enjoyed the match personally.
Oh, and Pat McAfee performed better than I expected but I'm still glad Adam Cole got the win.
Overall I'm glad I stayed up to watch it and I'd recommend it to someone who hasn't seen it. Anyway, that's just a summary of my personal opinion about Takeover 30.

If Keith Lee and Big E both leave Wrestlemania 37 with the two world titles.
This will make what happened tonight worth it.

A lot of people were boycotting the show because The Velveteen Dream was on the card, but they only punished themselves as Takeover was an amazing show, as usual. Fun Triple Threat Match with Breezango, Burch & Lorcan, & Legado Del Fantasmo on the Pre-Show. Finn Balor VS Timothy Thatcher was a brutal but great match to start the main card of Takeover XXX. The 5-Way Ladder Match for the North American Title was amazing. I was dreading Adam Cole VS Pat McAfee going into Takeover, but McAfee impressed me. It was a damn good match. It was cool for them to have Drew McIntyre there to talk about the NXT Championship Match & I also like Sasha Banks & Bayley being the audience earlier. Excellent match between Io Shirai & Dakota Kai for the Womens Title. It could have been Kai's best match in NXT. Also, glad Shirai was OK after hitting her head earlier. The Ref Bump wasn't needed. I love Ripley in the background over Shirai's shoulder as she celebrated, after Ripley saved her. I can't wait for NXT UK to come back in September. I haven't watched it since the last episode that had original matches in April. Cool video package on Tommaso Ciampa. I liked Cesaro in the crowd and fun promo with Damian Priest. Keith Lee VS Karrion Kross was another match that I wasn't looking forward to since I haven't liked the build, but it was a good match between 2 big monsters. I don’t have a problem with result and I’m interested in seeing what happens next. Here are the Facts & Stats for Takeover & here is the entire History of Takeover now updated with Takeover 30 Results: - NXT Takeover XXX was the 2nd Takeover in a row to not have an NXT Tag Team Championship Match & the 1st since Toronto on August 10, 2019 that Tommaso Ciampa didn’t wrestle - Breezango VS Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan VS Legado Del Fantasma was the 28th Triple Threat Match of 2020 & the 1st since NXT on August 12, & 8th Triple Threat Match in Takeover History & the 2nd in a row, the 2nd Pre-Show Match in NXT Takeover History & the 1st since Isaiah Scott VS Angel Garza at War Games III on November 23, 2019, Tyler Breeze’s 7th Takeover & 1st since Takeover XXV on June 1, 2019, & his 1st ever Tag Team or Triple Threat Match at Takeover, Fandango’s Takeover debut, Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan’s 1st Takeover since Takeover XXV on June 1, 2019 & their 1st Triple Threat Match at Takeover, & Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde’s Takeover debut, & was Tyler Breeze’s 1st win at Takeover since he defeated Sami Zayn on the 1st Takeover on May 29, 2014 - Finn Balor VS Timothy Thatcher was Finn Balor’s 13th Takeover, tying him with Tommaso Ciampa & Adam Cole for 2nd most Takeover Matches of All-Time, his 4th in a row, but 3rd in a row in 2020 & was Timothy Thatcher’s Takeover debut, & was the 1st Singles Match since Matt Riddle VS Roderick Strong at Takeover XXV on June 1, 2019, Balor’s 1st opener since Respect on October 7, 2015, & Thatcher’s 1st opener - Johnny Gargano VS Cameron Grimes VS Damien Priest VS Bronson Reed VS The Velveteen Dream was the 2nd Fatal 5-Way Match of 2020, the 1st since WrestleMania 36 on April 5, the 25th 5-Way in History, the 1st for NXT since an NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Match, which was won by Adam Cole on NXT on March 20, 2019, & the 1st ever at a Takeover, the 7th Ladder Match of 2020, the 1st since Money In The Bank on May 10, the 80th Ladder Match in WWE History, the 1st for NXT since April 8, the 5th in Takeover History, & the 1st since the NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at Takeover 25 on June 1, 2019, the 3rd Ladder Match for a Vacant Title at Takeover, after New Orleans on April 7, 2018 for the North American Title & Takeover 25 on June 1, 2019 for the Tag Team Titles, therefore it was the 3rd Title Change in a Ladder Match, the 4th 5-Way Ladder Match in WWE History, the 1st 5-Way Ladder Match since the Women’s Money In The Bank Match on Smackdown on June 27, 2017, the 1st 5-Way Men’s Ladder Match since a Men’s Money In The Bank Match at Money In The Bank on July 15, 2012, & the 1st ever 5-Way Ladder Match for a Title, the 10th North American Championship Match of 2020, the 1st since NXT on July 15, the 9th North American Championship Match at a Takeover & 3rd Takeover in a row, Cameron Grimes & Bronson Reed’s Takeover debut, making them the 1st wrestlers since EC3 & Ricochet at New Orleans on April 7, 2018 to make their Takeover debut competing for the North American Title, Damian Priest’s 3rd Takeover & 2nd in a row, his 1st 5-Way Match, 1st Ladder Match, & 1st Title Match at a Takeover, Johnny Gargano’s 18th Takeover, which is the Most of All-Time, & 3rd in a row in 2020, his 3rd North American Title Match & 2nd in a row, making it the 2nd year in a row that someone wrestled in 2 North American Title Matches at back-to-back Takeovers, & the 1st since Ricochet at New Orleans on April 7, 2018 & Brooklyn on August 18, 2018 to challenge for the North American Title at back-to-back Takeovers, giving him the 2nd most North American Title Matches at Takeover, after The Velveteen Dream who competed in 4, & he is the only wrestler to compete in 3 or more NXT Championship Matches (4), NXT Tag Team Championship Matches (5), & North American Championship Matches (3), Gargano’s 2nd Ladder Match in his Career, & his 1st since he & Tommaso Ciampa lost to AOP at Chicago on May 20, 2017, giving him a record now of 0-2-0, The Velveteen Dream’s 11th Takeover, tying him with Kyle O’Reilly for 4th most Takeover Matches of All-Time, his 2nd in a row, his 5th North American Title Match, which will be the most of All-Time, & his 1st since Toronto on August 10, 2019. Honestly, I’m just glad somebody won that title match clean. Like, it would have been easy to go “Well, it’s too early for Lee to lose the belt, but it’s too early for Kross to lose in general, AH F*** IT BOOK A NO CONTEST” and again be THAT company that doesn’t let anyone get over because nobody wins clean, but they made their call.

Agreed There will always be a contingent that doesn't like the outcome for whatever reason. But atleast they did this clean no overbooked f***ery and I commend them on that restraint.

Great show, not a bad match, and Dream didn't win. And best of all Kross learned a new facial expression - surprised!

Lol, the polite applause after Kross' entrance was done. Made it feel like a high school talent show.

NXT feels really stale. Locking the roster for the most part since they started airing on USA hasn’t been the best.
I’m ready for UE, Gargano and Ciampa to be off the brand.

Kross reminds me of a 2003-2004 Ruthless Aggression hoss. He bores me. He's like prime Nathan Jones, Rodney Mack managed by Holla Holla Playa plus shades of Sean O'Haire in one package. Scarlett is a nice addition to this well oiled machine. I think he might have the FTW mindset.
