Eh, just do the same jackoff into the wind end they did when they vomitted out Apokolips War.
Oh wait, they can't, because the writer of this pile is a dipshit.

Speaking of, does DC just not at all recognize how much people absolutely loathed Apokolips War or what? It got a positive response in the like five reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, sure, but fan consensus seems to be overwhelmingly negative on it, and while it is one of the better selling ones of these movies in recent years, that's probably more from the fact none of them sell well anymore than anything and it still didn't exactly do great, yet this is basically just a retread of it and they also did a just as meanspirited follow-up to it for no particular reason that sold like absolute shit, but they just don't seem to take the hint.

If they had made it in it's own universe and had no connection to the Arkhamverse then it would be received better, it would still most likely be awful but we wouldn't have the hero we played as in multiple games killing off one of his wards and Harley Quinn carving the bat symbol into his corpse after he died.
It would be just like Injustice where the story is a joke but people enjoy the game itself.

It's still amazing to me that the most obvious setup was for Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights was for the former to have its own continuity and the latter to be in the Arkhamverse and somehow, they both screwed that up on top of seemingly getting the gameplay wrong too.

I really think they would've been best off just retiring the Arkhamverse entirely. The story had already kind of gotten too hung up on itself as early as City and Knight was written in a very, "Let's torch this franchise and get out of here," manner that seemed to be trying to leave very few loose ends, I think trying to continue from it at all would've been too confining and just doing a new Batman game independent of everything else would have been the best move. That said if you did want to continue it then holy hell this meanspirited salting the earth treatment isn't the way to do it. Though while we're on the subject of the Arkham storyline meaning nothing to these people... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Dialogue in the data indicates Joker is going to be either unlockable or DLC, because we can absolutely never be free of this asshole.

Yeah the Arkhamverse was pretty much all wrapped up in a bow at the end of Knight. Joker dead, like all of Batmans foes locked up (fine that doesn't stop them usually but still) And everyone is no longer afraid of Batman because they know he's Bruce Wayne (for some reason that means he can't break their bones still...) And well {Spoiler} Bruce "kills himself"/retires

Yeah, if this was just its own thing without any connection to the Arkham games it'd be whatever. But it does have that connection and it feels so cynical.

{Spoiler}I was thinking about giving this a shot, but I’m so bored with lethal force Batman and Superman being a dark threat to be stopped and Harley Quinn ass-kissing (and I don’t necessarily hate Harley but my *god* is she overexposed).

It's kind of minor compared to the rest but shout out to... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Them deciding to shit all over one of the Arkham Knight story decisions people actually liked by having Nora not only be alive but now be Ms. Freeze for some reason. This is coming off more and more as done out of spite.

Now I'm curious about what the line is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} There's a scene where Harley encounters a resurrected Poison Ivy, who is now just a child and the mindset of one having forgotten them. Harley says she didn't expect her to come back as fun size and has a creepy smile on her face when she says the line

Not gettin this game, i'll probably be busy with Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth and my PS4 and by this time next week PS5 backlog I played about 4/5 hours during the Alpha test and I'll probably play the full game. Not for the full price though. I'll wait until it's at least 50% off or on PlayStation Plus. It's not a game worth a full price, Day One purchase, IMO.

Although despite its flaws, I had a fun time with Gotham Knights. The wholesome family togetherness of the Bats papered over the cracks of the gameplay for me. I realise I'm in the minority on that, lol.

Those emails were perfection. You had Dinah wanting Kara to fly all 3 (Dinah, Barbara, and Kara) to a concert and Kara refusing because she wants a road trip. Clark giving Dick owl puns, and coming to realization that he's only asking so he can annoy Barbara with them. Dick complaining about Barbara blocking him because of said puns, Dick constantly forgetting his password. All of them getting really into a soap opera. Dick trying to solve the mystery of who ate his pizza.

I really liked the way it dealt with everyone's trauma from Bruce's death and especially how it handled Jason's trauma from his own death and resurrection. I could deal with the repetitive gameplay and all of the characters playing basically the same when it had so many nice details in the writing. From what I saw, Suicide Squad has some of those nice details, but it also has all of the spoilers we've seen.

Don't forget about Dick finding work arounds to still send Barbara Owl puns... >_> I liked the game but it definitely got repetitive in it's loop especially as there seems like there are like 4 locations for random crimes. also... {Spoiler}Bruce getting resurrected at the end, and then killing himself again within like 10 minutes was rushed and kinda dumb...
Talia resurrecting him should have been like a mid game reveal, and them now having to deal with that on top of everything else.
