I liked the show just fine, however, my biggest problem with it was his wife and non-wrestling friends called him 'Show' instead of Paul.
Who does that, really?

Should've called it the Big Big Show Show.
No one ever listens to my brilliant ideas.

Hopefully Big Show didn't put all his money into this Netflix gig to go along with his inadvisable strip mall investment.

Should've called it the Big Big Show Show. No one ever listens to my brilliant ideas. And on the season premiere, Show could do a one-man performance on a large scale, so it would be the Big Big Big Big Show Show Show Show.

The weird thing here is that they just did a big crossover thing with Fluffy's show and another one. Odd time to announce the show was cancelled. That was false advertising. The crossover was between Mr. Igelsias & The Big Show Show and the other 2 shows, Family Reunion & Ashley Garcia. There was no one from the 2 latter shows on the 2 former shows and vice-versa. The only connection was all of the shows had competition themes.

Not surprised. It was f***ing terrible.
I thought they stopped making shows like it about 15 or so years ago, plus it was very hard to take it seriously in a post Bojack Horseman world.

I havent seen it yet but I've seen sitcoms recycling stories for a long time now. Even ones from years before I was born. For example, the "whipped" episode where a guys friends see him happily do something nice for his girlfriend. They rag on him for being whipped. At first he resists then the teasing gets to him and he tries to assert his manliness in some cringy way that makes a fool of him. Eventually he realizes he was an idiot and apologizes. I have seen this scenario played out in countless sitcoms since the 80s and there are probably even more from before my time. For every Community, theres a baker's dozen of sitcoms that just rehash old ideas with new window dressing.
