I wanna see Pillman with working legs vs Owen Hart I assumed that this match must have happened in the revived Stampede at some point around '88 or '89, but it would appear as if they never had a singles match against one another. Sad.

He still would've died TBH, I just cannot see anywhere that he could have had a happy ending. He may have a better run but his drug use would've kept it short.

Feel like he may have gotten the Dude Love spot in spring of 98 as Austin's first series of defenses with Corporate backing.

- Crashes KOTR 96 to interview Austin after he wins the tourney, basically snatching the mic away from Dok Hendrix
- Takes Lawler's spot during that summer in making fun of Jake the Snake's drinking problems, setting up his first big match at SSlam where he beats Roberts and pours beer over him afterwards
- Going further with his controversial "breaking the fourth wall" character, Pillman has a mini-feud with The New Rockers after he clowns Jannetty for being the Jannetty of the original Rockers; Beats Marty at the IYH: Mind Games and manages to antagonize the ECW wrestlers in attendance as a nod to his short run there; The New Rockers jump Pillman (who is making more and more locker room enemies) after the match but Owen & Bulldog make the save; We get a little Hart Dungeon reunion where the subject of Bret returning comes up which brings out Austin, who calls out The Hitman
- After being Austin's cheerleader since debuting, Pillman gets stuck between him and Bret; At IYH: Buried Alive, Pillman issues an open challenge that's answered by Austin due to Pillman yet again talking up Bret; Austin gets himself DQ'd
- Pillman loses the rematch to Austin at SSeries while Bret returns to regain the title from HBK, setting up Bret v Austin for the title at the next IYH
- The Pillman-Sid rivalry is renewed starting at the Rumble as they both make it to the final four and their brawling cause them both to be eliminated by Austin; After beating Marc Mero at IYH: Final Four, Pillman gets Powerbombed by Sid; Their WCW past is referenced when Pillman uses a squeegee to cost Sid the WWF Title against Mankind (won the vacant title at Final Four) the next night on Raw; Using a camera, Pillman beats Sid at WM 13
- Pillman in The Hart Foundation stays the same which The Loose Cannon getting a match with HBK at KOTR 97 after Bret pulls out
- At Bad Blood 97, Pillman beats Dude Love thanks to botched interference from Goldust, who has to be begged by Marlena to stop assaulting the busted open Pillman afterwards
- Once Marlena's 30 days with Pillman expire, she and Goldust renew their vows; Pillman interrupts to attack Goldust, busting him open; Marlena officially betrays Goldust by willingly leaving with The Loose Cannon; In the No-DQ blowoff at SSeries, Pillman beats Goldust once and for all with Marlena's help; Like Owen, Pillman is not let out of his contract after the Screwjob but is allowed time off and a special visit to another promotion.......
- Pillman is revealed as Rick Rude's mystery challenge for Shane Douglas' ECW Title, which he wins on an episode of Hardcore TV in late October; At the November to Remember, Pillman drops it back and is not seen or heard from for months
- The historic Austin v McMahon match on Raw in April 1998 is crashed by the returning Pillman, who attacks the WWF Champion and aligns himself with Vince; Now wearing a suit and tie and speaking eloquently without profanity, Pillman is McMahon's first "chosen one" tasked with taking out Stone Cold; After winning by DQ at Unforgiven, Pillman fails to win the title at Over the Edge despite Marlena as the ref; The next night on Raw, Pillman breaks up with Marlena only to be Pillmanized by Austin right after; The show ends with Vince firing Pillman, who is then thrown out of the building
- Fast forward a year and Pillman makes another return as The Higher Power with the intent on wiping Austin out of existence and booting Vince from power thus forcing Stone Cold and McMahon to join forces against The Corporate Ministry; At KOTR 99, Pillman and Taker beat Austin and McMahon to keep the WWF Title on Taker while giving Pillman control over the WWF; The following night, Shane O'Mac is kicked out of The Corporate Ministry since he's no longer needed and is still a McMahon; Taker drops the title back to Austin on Raw due to a last minute clause Vince wrote into Stone Cold's contract; Thanks to Shane's interference, Austin beats Taker in a First Blood Match at Fully Loaded to keep the title and get a match with Pillman
- Pillman gets the biggest payday of his career as he main events SSlam 1999 in a "Loser Leaves WWF" Match for the WWF Title against Austin with Jesse Ventura as the ref; Of course, Austin wins to officially end Brian Pillman's in-ring career on top; Hopefully, the Pillman family is living comfortably and Brian can give back to the business without banging up his body anymore, maybe behind the scenes at WWF or an on-air personality at ECW. Maybe even leaves it altogether to be a family man now that he proved all his doubters from 5-10 years before wrong
THE END
