Meng entering Fall Brawl and briefly dominating Sting, Luger and Savage all by himself with the other three Dungeon guys just standing there watching him go to work.

As a kid I loved the Dungeon of Doom, the earlier version. I didn't like the mid to late 1996 version with guys that really didn't have characters like Konnan, Maxx and Big Bubba. I thought the version of Shark, Meng, Zodiac and Kamala was main event for the time. I think it would have gone over better if WCW had them win some high profile matches. Maybe not against Sting, Macho, Luger and Hogan but they needed wins over bigger stars. I do feel awful for John Tenta getting the Shark tattoo only for the gimmick to be done in less than a year. Main event wins in 1995 over someone besides Macho, Hogan, Luger or Sting? So who? DDP? Harlem Heat? Johnny B Badd? Credible mid carders but then would that kill the momentum they were building?

When they brought in Braun the Leprechaun to join the group in the summer of 1996. I love that promo. “The Horsemen have a Wolverine. So we’ve got a leprechaun.” And that Sullivan hypes him as the counter to Benoit-and Braun proves it by screaming and throwing a trash bag..
