Here's a pet peeve of mine. Guy A cannot beat guy B Guy C can beat guy B Guy A can beat guy C The biggest and most recent example I can think of is Braun Strowman can never beat Brock Lesnar. Rollins, Reigns, and Goldberg have. Strowman even was able to beat those three. But when it came to squaring off against The Beast Incarnate, the Monster Among Men always falls short. Eh, that kind of feels like the wrestling equivalent of “MMA Math” to me more than a plot hole. How is that explained in MMA?

Eh, that kind of feels like the wrestling equivalent of “MMA Math” to me more than a plot hole. How is that explained in MMA? Here's an example: Ronda Rousey used to be known for her armbars and, as much as she tried, Miesha Tate never found a way to defeat her. Holly Holm, a striker, found a way to keep Ronda at bay and beat her for the title. In her first defense, Holm faces Tate, a wrestler who found her range in the nick of time before taking Holm down and defeating her for the title. Ronda > Miesha Holly > Ronda Miesha > Holly Then Amanda Nunes comes along and beats all 3 of them, ruining the triangle...

Somehow forgot to mention A.P.A's magical teleporting office in 02 that showed up on a RAW in Albany in the exact same condition it was left in the week before on a Smackdown in Philadelphia to setup the nWo/Bradshaw feud.

this probably doesn't belong in this thread --- but it still bugs me that Vince was the higher power
that literally no damn sense make the previous 6 months worth of storyline useless

HBK used the super kick as an instant match ender, and now it’s just another move that every light heavyweight uses I wouldn't count it as an inconsistency if some else attempted another person's signature move isn't as devastating as the original. If Shawn's superkick became a regular move in his matches, it would be an inconsistency. In kayfabe, it can easily be explained that the finisher is something the wrestler has perfected and no one else can do it with the precision strike and power required to end a match. Much like Ryu's Shoryuken uppercut isn't as powerful as Ken's.

Yeah it basically comes down to different fighters having different styles, strengths/weaknesses etc I have no problem with pro wrestling working the same way

Goldust dumped his wife and child on live TV, hooked up with some crazed bondage queen and partiiapted in some of the most uncomfortable segments on TV, but when his ex wife (who he dumped) ends up in bed with a porn star, she is painted as the villain and the jezabel.

I actually really enjoyed that angle, I thought the segment you mentioned with Goldust leaving Terri right after the Pillman/Marlena angle ended was some of the best acting I've seen in WWE (which is probably what made it so hard to watch)

Papa Shango curses the Ultimate Warrior and throughout April, May, and June terrorizes enhancement talent and Mean Gene with his voodoo tricks, July all is forgotten about the curses and Ultimate Warrior is 100% for his title match with Savage at and Shango is demoted to a singles match against Tito Santana that doesn’t even air on the ppv and is show weeks after on Prime Time Wrestling. I know their house match looped was bad but this feud deserved a televised blow off match where maybe the Warrior learns how to reverse a voodoo spell and Shango gets cursed

Wardlow not employed by AEW but employed directly by MJF. & yet he is in a tournament to challenge for the world title. So the AEW World Heavyweight Champion could potentially be someone not even officially in AEW?

(no pun intended) The whole angle was fantastic really, its such a shame it didnt pan out how it was suppose to as the angle on the RAW after Brian died sounds epic.

Which then leads to this angle: wrestlecrap.com/inductions/terri-runnels-pregnancy/Where after Terri Runnels gets dumped by Val Venis after announcing her pregnancy, she goes BACK to Goldust about him being the possible father despite the fact that they haven't had sex for months which is the widely accepted view that pregnancy was caused is caused by. Then right after, she has a miscarriage and forces D'lo Brown to do her favors to make up for allegedly causing it, only for the doctor to say she faked it, and has never been pregnant, which I guess also means that she was lying about Dakota being her daughter a whole year earlier. This storyline was vastly similar to the Kane/Lita/Snitsky/Matt Hardy/Edge debacle. But since it took place in the Attitude Era, it's crappiness and convoluted nature gets forgotten about.

If you really want to make yourself dizzy with all the plotholes, this storyline will make your head spin: wrestlecrap.com/inductions/greater-power/I'll admit, as much of a letdown and nonsencial as Vince being revealed as the hower power(Taker's actual words) was, I do appreciate all the ridiculous lengths he'd go to to mess with Austin.

Papa Shango curses the Ultimate Warrior There were a few feuds that didn't make Summerslam. Berzerker and Underatker for one, then Martel and Tatanka and yet they are facing each other the next PPV. Repo Man and Bulldog, Bret and Shawn from the house shows, Flair and Savage were all feuds at the time. It was cool seeing the Beverly Brothers get a title shot but they were a team who really were destined to always go against the Bushwhackers and in early 1993 they were doing six man tags with Little Louie and Tiger Jackson. Also Money Inc and Natural Disasters were really the ones feuding. From what I read, WWF would have done the feuds at the time on PPV if it was a PPV based in U.S. (Washington DC). Summerslam 1992 was amazing and deserves to be held in the same regard as Wrestlemania III but I get why most matches are forgettable. I'm not sure why they didn't do the main feuds or at least most of them with Bulldog and Bret ending the show. I don't believe they even went back to the feuds on house shows but could be wrong. ) i

"A beat B and B beat C therefore A beats C" has absolutely no basis in boxing or in any other real combat sport--or any team sport. George Foreman demolished Joe Frazier, at the time the only man to beat Muhammed Ali, so people expected George to kill Ali in Zaire as a result. Didn't happen. Frazier's bob-and-weave style was a perfect stylistic match-up for Foreman's powerful uppercuts--he was exactly the type of boxer that Foreman feasted on.

I wish we would have gotten a backstage segment of Ax, Smash and Crush delegating which member would permanently leave. Back to Tunney and his orders, why were Demolition limited to 2 members, but Fuji’s other team, the Orient Express, was allowed to have Kato, Sato and Tanaka? Because that lasted maybe a month or so in 1991, IIRC? For that matter, why did New Day get permitted to have three members, and ones that defended the tag team titles? I know a lot of administrations passed between Tunney's and then, but...yeah.

Here's one that hasn't been brought up = the origins of The Undertaker/Kane feud. While it might've been one of the greatest rivalries of all-time, one inconsistency that gets overlooked is Kane presumably dead along with his parents in a fire(that Undertaker set for some reason). Didn't Undertaker notice there was one less casket at his parents funeral? Why weren't charges filed against him(even if he was a minor at the time)? I know Kane has a history of contradictions in his backstory(such as the death of Katie Vick was he was suppose to be hiding in his basement), so I guess this would complicate things even further.
