Also, while I'm happy Lady Frost is getting looked at, I hope they give her husband, "The Savage Gentleman" Victor Benjamin, a shot as well. That dude can move. Like, I don't have a good sense of just how good he is in the ring overall, but a guy that size who can bump like that has to get a look eventually. I kind of wonder if he and Frost have gotten fewer looks because they seem to have done so much as a package deal. Frost seems insanely good for her experience level, and Benjamin is a promoter's dream of a big man. They have such an interesting story. They moved their entire lives to Philly just to train for CHIKARA, a promotion which allowed men to fight the women on an even playing field, but they were in developmental hell for what seemed like ages. Eventually they both debuted under a complete gimmick overhaul as "The Red Queen and One Eyed Jack". We obviously know what happened to CHIKARA, which also meant unfortunately, their gimmick went with it, a shame because One Eyed Jack has one of the coolest looks I've seen in a hot minute and their finisher is really cool and something I wouldn't mind seeing a Hoss/High Flying duo try in AEW. Due to this sort of limbo, what they went to Philly for has fallen through, so quite honestly, if AEW wanted them, it'd be a good ending for what they went through.

Honestly, cut the amount of matches. 17 is too many even if there wasn't a pandemic.

Honestly, cut the amount of matches. 17 is too many even if there wasn't a pandemic. Eh, more money to talent that needs it right now. Plus it's not as if we can't skip through it after it is done live. That's usually what I end up doing.

And they actually moved back to Pittsburgh because of CHIKARA's demise. So it would be nice to see them finally get a break in AEW.

Honestly, cut the amount of matches. 17 is too many even if there wasn't a pandemic. It's more money for talent, you can skip around and watch the matches you want, this formula gets wrestlers signed to the company, and moreover, it has never hurt the live viewership, in fact live viewership has increased over the last few weeks.

I generally watch the first hour, then do the second another day. I do wonder if the number of matches are to make sure all full time workers get exposure, and to give a little back to the indies given how many talents can't work right now and need help keeping their names out there.
