They're demoing it at acoustic shows...and there's a recording of it on YouTube...and just...holy hell it's so amazing. Everyone should go listen. It's not the highest of quality...but still. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XF6nUMOdwgUGo listen.

Can someone explain to me what the hell a Coheed or a Cambria is, and what it is they do together?
Seriously, I even went to their Wikipedia page and I didn't see an explanation.

Two separate names... If I'm not mistaken, the basis of their CDs is one long epic love story (kinda like Romeo & Juliet)... Coheed & Cambria are the main characters' names...

Kinda hit the nail on the head there, though both Coheed and Cambria die during the first CD. It's more about Claudio Killgannon than anything...but the story gets very confusing, but very awesome. But I'm way too much of a Coheed nerd and I could probably spell out the story for you right here...but I'll spare you.

See I'm still looking for the comic. A friend of mine had it a while back, but I only got to flip through it, and I haven't seen him again in a while, so I'm going crazy.

Mm, I have the first Second Stage Turbine Blade comic, and the Good Apollo Volume 1 graphic novel...I still need SSTB issue 2 though. But most of my knowledge of the story comes from reading/coming up with theories around the cobalt and calcium message boards.

All I really know about Coheed is how awesome Claudio's voice is. The man is gifted.

Yeah, he's awesome. Freddie Mercury's number one on my list, obviously, but Claudio is getting pretty high up on my list of favorite singers ever.

Yeah...my top 5 is probably, in no particular order, Davey Havok, Claudio Sanchez, John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, and Billy Corgan.
I have a LOT of favourite singers, but those are the favourite of the favourite, so to speak.

Yeah, it would be way too hard for me to narrow it down to just five. Claudio and Freddy would easily make the list, though, I'm pretty sure.

haha yeah...I was very conflicted, because I really wanna put Gerard Way in there too....I really suck at top 5 lists. Like crazy bad.
So yeah...I'm not even sure about that one as I look at it.

Jeez, doc, the Pretention Meter is off-the-scale! Ehh, I disagree, but I am a sucker for concept albums. I think they're very interesting. I'm also an extremely open-minded person. *shrug*

Yeah, I just remember seeing the "A Favor House Atlantic" music video and thinking, "Whoa, that band sounds pretty awesome.", and my fandom has just grown from there. It's all good.
