It would either be John Stockton or Steve Nash. And I think Nash would have it after his career is done.

John Stockton had some really hairy legs, and for that he wins.

I never saw Birdman dunk it. But his jumpshot was ok I suppose. He definatley did in the 1984 NBA Finals (which the Celtics won):

The lack of any mention of Bob Cousy in this thread troubles me greatly...

I'm offended on how all light skinned players are lumped into the white category. Does Dirk qualify as a white player or a German, or what?

I'm offended on how all light skinned players are lumped into the white category. Does Dirk qualify as a white player or a German, or what? Multiple categories, meaning he's eligible for both "Best White Player" and "Best Player Born Outside the United States", even though I say he doesn't win either. For the record, I vote Larry Bird (ya, I know we're not supposed to vote for him, so f'n what I say) and Tim Duncan respectively.

What's the name of that really tall Asian basketball person? Ming, Yao. But he's not white, therefore doesn't count.

My Top 5 (in order)
1. Stockton 2. Cousy 3. Maravich 4. Mikan 5. Havlicek
Hon. mention goes to Steve Kerr. Not because he's one of the GREATEST, but he's such a clutch guy, and EVERYONE here in San Antonio still loves him.
