which game was better in your opinion?
for me I will always think 1080 was the far superior game during the psx/n64 generation.
plus it was sponsored by tommy hilfinger!

You know, this isn't quite a fair question. After making Cool Boarders 2, UEP Systems sold the rights to the use of the Cool Boarders name in the US (and Canada) to Sony to give to whatever developers they wanted, while still Developing Cool Boarders games in Japan. The first one, we saw (Cool Boarders Burrrrrrrn!, which got renamed to "Rippin' Riders" when it came out over here, for the Dreamcast), and the second, "Cool Boarders Code Alien", was a PS2 game that never came out here at all, but its engine was used for Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder, the Cool Boarders trick system ripped out for something more Tony Hawk-like, control wise...
Argh, this makes me want to find SBK for the DS and see if it's any good....

The penguin board made me happy. But I have a huge love for all things penguiny.
In any case, 1080 for me. Never really liked CoolBoarders

Dude, I gotta get me some penguin stuff. Aside from penguin pajama bottoms, which I wear regularly when I know I'm not doing shit that day, I'm sorely lacking in penguin paraphanallia.

Dude, I gotta get me some penguin stuff. Aside from penguin pajama bottoms, which I wear regularly when I know I'm not doing crap that day, I'm sorely lacking in penguin paraphanallia. As am I, unfortunately. Aside from my mousepad I really don't have much. Hot Topic has some Penguin fingerless gloves though, and I really, really need those. Because that's about the most amazing thing ever.

Yeah, when I finally get some more money, I'm hitting HT and getting A) Naruto ninja vest thing, because, without trying to sound egotistical, I look awesome in it, and B) some kind of figerless gloves. Because I just like the way they look.

I also rather enjoy the look of fingerless gloves. In fact, I just bought some black and pink stripey ones today. Along with a really cute shirt, and a purse, and a belt, and a necklace.
What? I needed new crap.

Damn right . It probably doesn't help that I don't even shop on the guy's side of the store anymore. Seriously, all their guys clothes are pretty much crap. I shop on the girls' side...where there's actually some halfway decent stuff. Hey, at least I'm not walking around in skirts and heels. ...but someday I do plan on doing a drag show of some kind. So you never know. Plus, my friends already gave me my drag name. Tina Tuberculosis. How f***ing cool is that? Damn, we are hijacking this thread bad.

Eh, that seems to happen to me a lot. It's fun. Hijacking threads is pretty cool as long as you're not a jerk about it, and we're not, so...

Oh also, I found a friend I haven't seen in a LONG time in a box earlier tonight, and it totally made me think of you, Spanky. I forgot how hard he is to stand up...
