WWE would pay Gronk a ton over and over again for all the press they got from it.

I didn't find Gronk very entertaining in his couple appearances, but I want him retiring, joining WWE, and then leaving to play football again to become a recurring thing like in Parks and Rec when Ben Wyatt kept quitting that accounting firm.

Gronk has a lot of fun physical charisma because he's a giant meathead.
Just keep him far away from any mics.

As a Brit who doesn't watch US ball-foot at all seeing how polarising he is when I know nothing about him is quite hilarious.
Watching from a distance, seeing him help Mojo in that battle royal - which meant nothing to me except the crowd popped for him, and I am very pro-crowd pops, then he shows up seeming like he's signed, loads of people flip their shit at the idea of this guy learning to work a punch, then he disappears entirely from WWE, and now this thread pops up.
Uh. Get that money, Gronk, I guess?

I'll never fault anybody for fleecing Mr. Burns.

Have no issue with it whatsoever.
