Alvarez reported on Observer Live that WWE will release 30K tickets for each night and then if there's the demand for it, they're going to try to sell up to 55K for each night (75% capacity). I can’t imagine them reaching 75% with no international travel. Anyone that’s done a Mania trip knows that a huge part of the market that just won’t be here this year. Just as well, because that would really pushing their luck with vaccines not widely available yet.

I’d be surprised if they sell out 30K each night since I imagine they won’t get a lot of travelers.

And I'm sure the show will be good and some fans are dying to go see a Mania type event but there's also nothing gigantic about this show so far. Selling out 30K each night without some big name part time talent might be difficult.

Constantly relying on part-timers to bail them out is why we’re questioning whether they can even pull 30k with their full-time guys in the first place.

They need to build new full time stars. They just may draw less in the short term.

It would be hard regardless of who you have for sure but I do think a card like last years would have a better chance of reaching 30K in this kind of situation when you had Becky/Goldberg/Cena/Brock/Taker on the card who won't be around this year.

Yep, pre-pandemic Wrestlemania was selling 40-50,000 tickets on name alone before a match was even announced. To sell those extra 20-30,000 tickets though and be able to brag about selling out and breaking all-time gross/attendance records you need those big marquee names/matches.

If Asuka doesn't go, I can see Charlotte going to Smackdown and forcing Bianca to put her Smackdown Women's title shot on the line at Fastlame only for it to end in a double countout due to Bayley interfering leading to both Charlotte and Bianca to each get a shot at the Smackdown women's champ at Mania, winner of a coin toss gets to challenge the women's champ in night one while the loser has to face suitable competition in night one before taking on the SD women's champ at night two

Still, Charlotte vs. Bianca has potential to be a decent match at Fastlane. IF they ever did what you've posted.

Ticket sales delayed, new date probably announced next week, by the time tickets are finally on sale, it'll probably be too late and those who were hoping to go to mania will instead may have to settle for going to AEW's Double or Nothing.
Is Amalie Arena available mania weekend? It may likely be too late by the time tickets are finally on sale to hopefully draw a big crowd in the stadium but may be enough sales to fill 25% of Amalie arena though (They may have to face conflicts with Lightning and Raptors games though)

Weird stat, this'll be Xavier Woods's first WM match in FIVE years, his last being the six man tag against Sheamus, Del Rio and Rusev at WM32:
WM33 - Co-host WM34 - Ringside for tag match WM35 - Ringside for Kingston's world title match WM36 - Injured

Seems like cooler heads prevailed and they're going with a much smaller crowd:
