This is why I cringe whenever Vince calls someone up.
And this is also why I want Triple H in charge. He has his faults but he can still run a product far better if NXT is any indication.

Can't say I'd be shocked I'm afraid. I enjoyed his run in NXT and he did have a fun match with AJ on the main roster but never really got going in the main roster for whatever reason.
If he is done with WWE and gets his release than I hope he does well wherever he ends up.

I would expect he will be forced out (Vince is too damn stubborn he wont quit) amid his declining health and being unable to continue his responsibilities as CEO. I am not sure how it would work I think the board and or stockholders would have to vote on it again not sure completely.

I also wouldn't bank on it being any better if/when Triple H and Stephanie take over. Stephanie is hardly a creative genius, she was given the book and completely torpedoed the company creatively after probably its best period ever. And how much influence over booking does Triple H actually have with NXT?
It could improve, I suppose, but I'm not holding my breath for it to be drastically different.

It depends on how much of Vince's attitudes Stephanie inherits. Just because she'd be the likely successor as CEO doesn't necessarily mean she'll be as much a micromanager as her old man. If she is wise enough to properly delegate, it could mean a big improvement in everything that goes on behind-the-scenes.
It also helps that all the talent seems to really like or at least respect Stephanie. Likely that changes if she ends up THE boss, but having that sort of good will from your "independent contractors" will make a world of difference compared to Vince's uh Vince-iness.

I think with HHH, it’s more the idea that he diviates power to people who would know how to put on a show rather than have him be the only person who decides what is good or bad. Like, he gets final say but it’s not like he’s not willing to compromise if stuff is working or hinders that because, at the end of the day, that is what helps or hurts a product. Whether this would work out with more upper powers to listen to (networks, foreign powers etc) would be a real test of it.

Honestly I have some pretty heavy doubts Triple H and Stephanie will ever actually be in power to a meaningful degree.

Nick Khan coming in puts a real spanner in the works because, from a Wall Street perspective, he’s shown more potential as a successor to Vince in his first year than Steph or HHH have shown in their decades in the company.

You would have to believe if Stephanie and HHH takeover(ha) it would be Steph running the business side and HHH running the creative/TV end of things.
HHH has been building his crew in NXT from production people to trainers to presumeably take the spots of the old weeds that need to be long yanked and thrown out (Dunne etc).
Hell HHH and Stephanie were the ones that negotiated FOX deal if reports are to be true so something like that is gonna play a big deal when Vince has to let go and someone new has to be appointed as the new CEO.

He'd be better off almost literally anywhere, I guess. Only downside is his theme song was great. Alas.

AEW vs. WWE becomes a battle of Khans as wrestling is now just Outworld.

I mean, I don't think it's going to just be more of the same, but at the same time, I don't expect it to get better necessarily because ultimately, Triple H is a corporate suit who, as you say, will have to listen to broadcasters and sponsors and Mohammed bin Salman and God only knows who else.
And yeah, as has been pointed out, there's no guarantee that they inherit. There were those rumours last year that various media conglomerates were interested in buying it, which were nonsense but it's also not outside the realms of possibility if and when McMahon retires or falls off the hooks.

The request was denied per Meltzer. Well, it’s time for Andrade to do the one thing to guarantee a release; Go to a party out of state.
