Vince ignores NXT all the time. No surprise there hasn't been anything done about Wuertz or any other NXT miscreants.

Part of me kinda feels sorry for him, as he's clearly been radicalised by online propaganda. It's becoming a real problem and damaging a lot of lives now and Wuertz seems like he's in pretty deep. "The internet turned me into a bad person" f***ing enrages me. Don't get me wrong, I completely believe it. If you're that weak of a person that the internet turned you into what it's turned Drake into, you shouldn't be allowed near other people. You're human garbage.

He's almost 37.

He's a f***ing miserable excuse of a human being and it sickens me that he's more likely to be fired for having a Twitch or Cameo than he is for being a borderline terrorist.

I absolutely felt this way until an acquaintance went down a similar path in past year or so. He went from a funny, nice normal guy to this wide eyed weirdo talking all sorts of Q-Anon nonsense and to be honest, it's terrifying. He was/is an intelligent guy too, a life long accountant, held various high ranking and prestigious positions in local council and he's now reduced to yammering mess trying to convince anyone that will listen that we're being controlled by lizard people and that the truth about the American election will come to light soon (of course, with the goal posts moving each time the latest date passes). I wouldn't mind so much, but we're not even American. Maybe these people aren't as mentally strong as we expect them to be, but they're being brainwashed to the point of mental illness and it's something that's spreading fast too. Stumbling across this Reddit group was a massive eye opener too.

You just know if NXT wasn't on Wednesdays he'd have been storming the Capitol with Jericho's wife and Choo-Choo the Hurky Jerky Dancer/Jimmy Pesto Sr.

Yeah, it's not that cut and dry. These sorts of radicalization tactics are very effective by taking advantage of people who are vulnerable to them for a number of reasons. They wouldn't be nearly as successful at this kind of recruitment, especially during times of hardship, if they weren't. And there have been way too many times in the last hundred years or so where seemingly ridiculous ideas were accepted by millions upon millions of otherwise rational people.

And there have been way too many times in the last hundred years or so where seemingly ridiculous ideas were accepted by millions upon millions of otherwise rational people. What I've found is that they tend to wrap up their insanity in truths & deliver it in small doses. In the UK there is this guy called David Icke, who has made a career writing books & giving speeches about every ludicrous theory you could imagine (Queen is a lizard/reality is a hologram/the Dark Ages didn't exist). I found it crazy that anyone would give this man the time of day, but he's made a living doing this. So I watched one of his lectures/performances (unsure what to call them). Instead of starting out with the crazy, he began with questions like "do you trust the government?" & "do you feel the media are giving you the full picture?". Reasonable questions, ones which most people would have a similar answer. But what he's doing is eroding people's trust in authority - he'll spend ages going on about past scandals at the BBC (which are legit) in the name of 'exposing the truth', but in doing so, it means his audience then lose faith in the BBC as a news source. Once this is acheived, Icke can then talk about his conspiracy theories, because any media source which opposes them has already been discredited. It's even worse in this age of social media, because it's much easier for people to create their own echo chambers, where the only news they receive is what they agree with. Follow pages on Facebook & Twitter that spout the same opinions as you, & block those who challenge them, & suddenly the only things you hear on a daily basis are what you already agree with. Conspiracy theories can sound rational when all you ever hear is the same story & others who believe it, & before you know it, a previously reasonable member of society is dressed as a bison & storming the capital in the name of 'the almighty Q'.

Icke managed to get a platform for all this by effectively claiming to be the son of God. Most people that would make this claim, wouldn't find themselves getting anything but local attention, but Icke had been one of the leading sports broadcasters in the 1980s (and a goalkeeper at clubs in the English league in the 1970s), so he got national attention including a 15 minute interview on the biggest prime time chat show of the day (Wogan on BBC1), which had millions of viewers.

Sounds...familiar. ObTopic: as long as Wuertz is active with the NXT roster, it's clear he can't be trusted not to continue being publicly the Typhoid Mary of the locker room. I wouldn't fire him, but I would send him home on his downside until his contract runs out or until everyone, including Wuertz, is vaccinated fully.

Don't worry everyone, Ryker is also still a shithead. Really surprised Road Dogg is a part of this as deceiving women in their moment of need with a fake abortion clinic isn't a product of black culture for him to appropriate.

As someone said somewhere else, the guy should at the very least be away from the PC.
Like, he might not be fully to blame for stuff going on there but when your pipes are leaking, you fix all the leaks, you don't just try to fix one and call it a day.

It's like trying to fix a leak but the guy that is standing next to it is telling you that the leaks were created by the democrats to cover up their pedophilia rings. All the while holding a wrench in his hands

I'm reminded of when the Parler stuff with him went down and he portrayed himself as being "just a referee" and acting clueless as to why there is any reason to care about his beliefs because he has no authority. And that's clearly a huge f***ing joke. But given how much Triple H put up with Demott up until he came nuclear, I doubt Wuertz goes anywhere.
