well this wasn't a great episode. It was very fun and kind of felt like the network era. It like NXT is back to booking more of everything instead of feeling the need to showcase only certain people or hot match ups to go against AEW. best thing for wrestling right now was NXT moving to Tuesdays. It's honestly best for that. I may be in the minority but I have always felt that NXT has hot shotted a couple things in the last year in an effort to win ratings that it looked as though they derailed months of plans... and of course you also have stuff like Vince deciding he needed Keith Lee on Raw. While NXT has always been good in ring they do need to build up the roster as a whole as legit. So the change feels like a good start

Glad FaBreeze lost after their horrible disrespect of our Beefeaters!
The InDex stuff maybe my favourite stuff in the company right now.
Monet interrupting Shirai’s interview was also great enjoying her character so far.

Man, the NXT fans really don't like MSK. Not too surprising considering how they've been booked. Winning the Dusty Cup and then winning the tag titles within the first 2-3 months in NXT definitely is going to alienate some fans.
This ain't a rare occurrence because this also happened to Kairi Sane in the beginning as well. She won the Mae Young Classic, got a title shot at Takeover: War Games, which Ember Moon won to finally become NXT Women's champion. Then after Ember Moon had a match against Peyton Royce, Kairi came out to confront her and got some audible boos from the Full Sail crowd. Of course it was all a "red herring" as Shayna Baszler made her NXT debut and choked out Kairi.
Point I'm trying to make is that the NXT fans don't seem to like these super pushes right out of the gate, where the talent is being given too much too fast.

Who is the team that is being undercut to such an extent that MSK are apparently worth being booed for? I can’t imagine it being Grizzled Young Veterans. People like Dain and Maverick but are they really THAT over to warrant such a backlash? The going theory from what I’m reading are that Legado Del Fantasma have a bigger following than what it appears. More specifically Raul Mendoza, who did the hard graft on the Florida loop.

The first time MSK was receiving these negative crowd reactions was during the Dusty Cup when they faced Legado del Fantasma in the semifinals. It continued at Vengeance day when they faced the Grizzled Young Veterans. With LDF, I can see fans gravitating towards them due to the work that Mendoza has put in over the years. With GYV, it might be the fans appreciating their good in-ring work as well as good mic work, not to mention them being the "bridesmaid but never the bride" at yet another Dusty Cup finals, while MSK waltzes in and gets everything.

GYV should have won the titles with MSK in chase mode after.

To be fair, it could easily just be like a dozen fans doing this in the building. The crowds have been pretty small so a few people booing together can really stand out.

It’s funny, it’s almost like in NXT there is resentment over people being hotshot to the gold, yet on the main roster, that is almost demanded for NXT callups because then it’s less time for WWE to WWE things.

Yeah, like, this isn't quite the same scenario as AEW's crowds at Daily's Place and even then, that's an entirely different scenario to what things were before the pandemic for both so it's kind of unfair to judge yet.

Was anyone expecting Adam Cole to beat up KOR after the match? Well, if they follow the Gargano/Ciampa template(Gargano beats Ciampa at Takeover: New Orleans to get back in NXT, then stakes a claim against Aleister Black for the NXT title; KOR beats Cole at Takeover: Stand & Deliver to get back his soul, KOR stakes a claim at Karrion Kross for the NXT title) Cole will probably show up and destroy KOR sometime in the next few weeks. Also, a lot of moving parts in the women's division right now and they're setting up a bunch of feuds. Mercedes Martinez will probably be Raquel's first title defense on NXT TV. Franky Monet confronting and interrupting Raquel last week and this week interrupting Io and telling her that she'll be at the top of the division while she's away. If Io's taking time off then I assume Franky possibly gets the title shot at the next Takeover. When Io returns I could see her feuding with Franky en route to her rematch against Raquel kinda like last year when they had Rhea feud with Raquel en route to facing Io. And while all this is going on, they're also planting the seeds and laying the foundation for Dakota/Raquel to split and feud as well. The Women's tag team division is looking a bit rough though since the only active teams are Shotzi/Ember and The Way. I think Tian Sha will probably end up winning those titles, but with Kai/Gonzalez busy with the NXT Women's title and are leading to a split and The Way busy with the InDex storyline, they need to set up and build up some other teams.

Zoey and Toni Mercedes and Raquel...that then feeds into Raquel and Dakota Franky greeting folk Ember and Shotzi Vs the Waymen Io gone for the time
Not saying it is a smart move but I can see Candice and Indi feuding here once they lose again to Ember and Shotzi who I think are gonna feud with Tian Sha next because people are taking a real shine to this blossomg loving tale of girl loves serial killer.
They really need to start getting some more air time to Gigi and Alayna Black lets start bolster that womens tag division before it starts looking like the main roster one.
And then u got Tegan Knox who presumeably would be returning sometime later this year so that will likely push Candice out of the tag division for a bit when the time comes.
Like said there are so many moving parts to this womens division it feels almost daunting especially now to try and place certain women where they are most needed.

I still don't know why NXT suddenly had Dolin teaming with Aqa/Zayda Ramier after Dolin had teamed with Jade on 205 Live back in January for the Women's Dusty Classic, and they looked like a more fitting team.

The NXT Women's division discussion deserves its own thread but anyways:
There are a lot of moving parts but outside of whenever she shows up on screen, Raquel feels ice cold. There is way more fan investment in other performers still. Its why I feel like Raquel's reign won't be a long one. She just isn't interesting. I recall Triple H saying that Raquel beating Io would cement her as the most talked about woman on the brand and end up being the most interesting thing on the show, but if anything the opposite is true. Interest levels in Raquel have plummeted.

Kinda reminds me of Shayna Baszler’s second title reign, where the most interesting things in the division did not even directly involve the champion(Io becoming the “Joshi Judas” and turning on Candice; Dakota turning on her best friend, Tegan Nox; the chase for the #1 contender between Rhea/Io/Bianca)
