Feels like Ethan Page was the first domino of underutilized guys who were signed before the roster was as bloated as it is to fall. Starks fits that same mold, to an even greater extent, and it feels like an inevitability that he's gone at the first possible opportunity.

Ricky got hurt in the Tag Team Tournament and it seemed to change whatever plans they had for him and Bill given Bill seems to be doing stuff with Jericho nopw. Barring Ricky eventually joining them, I imagine Ricky gets shuffled into another feud, or he's just not medically cleared from getting hurt in the Top Flight match yet Starks came out and said he hasnโt been injured (unless heโs lying). Well I know he's been off TV since that scare so maybe it's been at AEW's discretion too I hope he's all good regardless.

Maybe since he's made it clear that he doesn't want to be in AEW and he's off to WWE as soon as possible they're letting him cool off to deny WWE the ability to gloat over poaching a hot free agent a la Jade Cargill?

It's debatable how much AEW even wanted to keep Cargill considering they told her to take WWEs offer.

Starks has a lot of charisma and is a good wrestler, but even under Triple H, I'm still wary about how WWE treats its cruiserweights that aren't Rey Mysterio. Though if he bulks up to heavyweight, I think he'd do well over there.

He went up against guys like Cody, Danielson, Jericho and MJF without size really seeming to be an issue.

I believe Starks when he says he wasn't injured, I'm pretty sure he said he was fine not long after the match. But they definitely didn't know he wasn't hurt in the moment, Top Flight winning felt like it wasn't the plan and the finish looked massively improvised too. By losing the match whatever they were going to do with Starks and Bill after the result of the FTR match all disappeared I imagine.
Starks has felt WWE bound for a long time to me, that might be lazy thinking just because he's Cody's mate and never seems truly happy but yeah, struggle to get invested in him now which is a shame as he was one of my favourites when I first started watching. Think WWE would quite possibly be a better fit for him as he'd get more promo time and having lines written for him might actually suit him better as he stumbles over his words at times but he really is a small looking dude physique wise so no idea what his ceiling would be there. I don't know what the reaction is to how WWE book Jade but it looks hilariously bad to me as an outsider, Bianca is the one woman who comes close to matching her in terms of an incredible look, someone you could put her against down the line when Jade has improved, with them having never interacted, and it just being a great visual, yet they've made them a team right off the bat. Find that really strange and possibly proof that they really had no great plan for Jade beyond "we want all AEW's younger talent" which tbf they did brief basically word for word at one point.

Keep in mind that all those guys are also on the smaller side of heavyweights, too. Hell, Jericho started out as a cruiserweight before bulking up for WWF.

Jades been in WWE for basically 9 months so we're coming up on nearly a year...she was likely in the PC for like 3-4 months and they gave her the Rumble spot. Outside of that though she's being hidden in tag matches, Even on house shows...she's worked a grand total of 9 matches... They don't even let her work on house shows...it says to me they have buyers remorse and realize she isn't good. She's 31, she's all look, and so far it looks like she isn't going to get better.

That's really rough, dealing with concussion symptoms for that long is no joke Might need to take the belt off him if he can't return any time soon

No. But HHH saying she was held back "where she was before" and trotting her out and she is the exact same as she was in AEW if not doing actually less so far, is aging poorly Not a shock something HHH said was stupid an aged poorly mind you, and Jade does have star presence, but nothing about what Jade has shown in ring is any different from her AEW work so far, in fact I'd say it's actively less then what she did in AEW, after all that time in the PC and such. They are very clearly masking weaknesses with her that might just linger her entire wrestling run... and that's ok, because Jade's got the presence much like a Chyna to make it work, was just dumb to say.

Reaaaaly doubt theyโre having buyers remorse with her I don't think WWE has buyer's remorse but it is odd that she's being hand held a lot more in her matches right now versus the end of her AEW run where she was regularly having solid 10 minute singles matches where she rarely had a deer in the headlights look. And that was often with relatively green talent like Skye and Anna. It's not that WWE is wrong in their approach. Just a lot more cautious than I expected given what I've seen her do.

Wow that really sucks for Wheeler, his rise to the BCC was one of the first storylines I watched in AEW. I think I jumped in right around or before his second match with Mox.
I am also so bummed about Hobbs. He is awesome to watch and a nice dude. My wife and son met him in an elevator when they were leaving big business a bit early to get the young one to bed.
She said Hobbs was such a good dude. My son loves to do the "paa paa paa powerhouse" and was being all shy when Hobbs got on the elevator. So he got all down crouching and put my son at ease enough for him to do the "paa paa paa powerhouse" for Hobbs to see.
Get well soon everyone.

Eddie apparently got injured at the New Japan show. Sammy Guevara can take his place in the Anarchy match.

Barricade knee injuries are the worst. It's what took Taven's knee out in ROH about the same time as Seth's.
