I know Roddy didn't need the World Title but even for a short time in the 80s a heel Piper as World Champ would have been amazing. Problem was he didn't want Hogan to ever pin him so to get the belt back on Hulk they would have had to have stripped Piper of the belt for some reason, or maby have him lose it in a cage match on SNME. The problem with Piper was, he would have had to job the title to someone eventually.

He was forced to sign a deal with Vince sometime around Mania 1 and he hated it. He felt his word was contract enough. If he had the title and decided to split, he couldn’t because he was champion. He talks about this in his first book.

Swagger as US champ during the We The People persona. Yeah, that feud with Del Rio had no business being for the Big Gold Belt. Should've been for the US Title. Not like Cesaro was doing anything wit it then and didn't even make the WM 29 card.

I still think Kerry von erich should have won the awa championship at Superclash 3. I don't care about wrestling logic or backstage whatever, 6 year old me still demands it!

When I look back and do rebooking for different years, I would've had piper win the title on an MTV special via screwjob. That could set up SNME matches with muraco and orton for Hogan then at wrestlemania 2 have the cage match but put piper instead of bundy. Hogan can win by escaping the cage.

When Hennig first came to the WWF, I was expecting a longer feud with Hogan and I was looking forward to it. Hogan had always been fighting monsters, but Hennig was someone who could OUTWRESTLE him. I'm sad that it didn't pan out that way, and that Curt didn't get a decent chance with the Heavyweight title. ...and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone better feeding babyface comebacks than Curt Hennig, he was a master at working the audience. Him & Hogan in a big Mania match would have been unreal.

La Parka could’ve been a fun TV champ in WCW.

Aside from that brief period as "WCW" US champion, how the HELL did they never get Angle to the US title? That would've been a good exit program for him in his final year instead of that Baron Corbin stuff. He'd have to be on Smackdown, but him going over Truth in Jan and putting over Joe in April would've been sweet.

William Regal as the WWE/World Heavyweight Champion. It's a shame we never got to see it.

Kurt Angle should have been the first US Champion when WWE brought it back in 2003. If not then for sure he should have beat Joe for it on Raw when Kurt was picking his opponents for his retirement.
