Kane is the perfect example. His biggest two are Brothers of Distruction and Team Hell No, but he's also had tag title runs with RVD, Xpac, Big Show, Mankind and Hurricane.

Crush with Demolition and DOA.
He was only in Demolition a short while but everyone for good or bad remember it. DOA was kinda shitty but were featured heavy the beginning of the attitude era.

Obviously, some people have been in one hugely important tag team. The Dudleyz, for instance. Who, then, are some people who were in more than one big, successful tag team? One who immediately comes to mind would be Stan Lane. Probably part of what helped him get accepted as Dennis Condrey's replacement in the Midnight Express was that he was already a tag star, anyway, due to the Fabulous Ones, so a good portion of the audience would already know he was legitimate. A lot of this is going to be open to interpretation, so if you have a looser idea of what constitutes a big name tag team, go for it. For example, the Brothers of Destruction are what I'd consider a big name tag team, but they also infrequently tagged. Kane and X-Pac, though, it'd be harder to argue against. They didn't last years and years or anything, but they were enormously popular. Kane is the answer. I mean when it comes to Tag Team titles and the important role he had with said partners, it fits. Sure none where long term deals but very important in the role. You had the Brothers of Destruction as you said, Kane and X-Pac, but add also him with Big Show Tag champions for a good while with a WM appearance. You can also argue in Kane and RVD again tag champions. And you didn't even get to Team Hell No. James Storm comes to mind. He was in AMW and then the even more successful Beer Money.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. springs to mind. With TJ Wilson/Tyson Kidd, Brian Pillman Jr. and Teddy Hart, and the very successful KES with Lance Archer. Very impressive.

Not trying to be "that guy" but alot of the tag teams being mentioned were not huge tag teams but midcard at best, plus alot of people mentioned are 2 singles guys throw into a short term tag team, rather than an actual team It's a hard line to find. Technically, Edge and Christian were two singles guys thrown together in a midcard tag team for 2 or so years but not many people will argue against them being included. Same with the New Age Outlaws. It seems like this is a topic where everyone draws their own line really. Edge and Christian are legit childhood friends that tagged before they were in the WWF, though. It's not exactly random that they ended up in The Brood together, much less still teaming afterwards.

Cody Rhodes
The unnamed team with Hardcore Holly that held the belts for 8 months Legacy/Priceless Rhodes Scholars The Brotherhood.
It's amazing that for such a singles guy, he spent so long in so many solid teams.

How about Primo?
Won the Tag Titles with Carlito who were actually dressed as a team and then won the titles again with Epico.

Arn was in four. Ole, Tully, Zbyszko, and Eaton. I mean it might be stretching it to call the Zbyszko and Eaton teams huge but they were both championship teams that were featured high on the card. The Enforcers in particular was a pretty hot team in the short time they were together. The Arn and Eaton was part of the main event heel stable in the company so they were featured pretty prominently. Hello, you forgot his team with Paul Roma. HAHAHAHA

Unless I missed it, not a single mention of Dale Hey/Dale Valentine/Buddy Roberts.
-The Hollywood Blondes (with Jerry Brown, managed by Sir Oliver Humperdink). One team I would love to see footage of. -The Fabulous Freebirds
Both teams drew huge money

HAHAHAHA Laugh all you want, but they were WCW Tag Champs, beating the Hollwood Blondes for the straps. Hell, Paul Roma is actually a three time WCW Tag Champ. The above with Arn and two times with Paul Orndorff.

But, on that note I did like the Pretty Wonderful team.

Love these threads. Tag wrestling is the shit and I’m amazed at folks who can excel at it with multiple partners. Those folks are always gonna be undervalued in terms of what they actually bring to the product.

Not exactly huge in size, but: Jim Brunzell teamed with Greg Gagne for quite a long spell, then with B. Brian Blair after the jump to the WWF.

Between ROH and NJPW, Rocky Romero was in the Havana Pitbulls with Ricky Reyes, the No Remorse Corps with Davey Richards, the Forever Hooligans with Alex Koslov, and Roppongi Vice with Beretta, for a total of 11 tag title reigns.

Hiroyoshi Tenzan was half of both of the most successful teams in New Japan's history with Masahiro Chono and Satoshi Kojima. Karl Anderson would also count for New Japan, being in both Bad Intentions with Giant Bernard, and the Bullet Club with Doc Gallows. Giant Bernard also fits this, he was IWGP Tag champs with Tomko for almost a year.

Beautiful Bobby Eaton with Dennis Condrey, then Stan Lane as the Midnight Express. With Arn in the Dangerous Alliance. Then as Earl Robert Eaton in the Blue Bloods with Regal. Eaton teamed with the other half of The Fabulous Ones Steve Keirn as well. Although they weren’t nearly as successful.
