3 and Vice City are available on PS4 but only San Andreas is backwards compatible on Xbox. Though flipside you can play 4 on Xbox, though the last mission of the Revenge ending is impossible to beat due to a glitch they haven't bothered fixing. That's good to know about IV.... If I have the 360 disk for IV, I should be ok if I'm playing from the disk right? I think the glitch would happen regardless. Basically due to the improved performance of the game it's expecting you to tap the button to get into the helicopter inhumanly quickly.

GTA6 should be set in modern day Saint Denis.

I would’ve liked to see them try Chicago next, but I’m down with coming back to Vice City. This time, jai alai should be a mini game, since it’s a big part of the culture in Miami, and there’s always rumors that organized crime is involved, which would lend itself to GTA.
I’m guessing storyline mode gives you a certain area of the city, and anything you download for multiplayer will change around it. I’ve called for a Disney World parody in a future Vice game, and it seems like that would be the sort of thing that would be multiplayer DLC.

You discover later than it's secretly controlled by the Epsilon movement.

are 3 and Vice City available on Xbox Live/PS Store? I know I can get them in the App Store on Apple, but I'd rather get them on a console. I have 3 and Vice City for the Xbox, but I don't think they were ever backwards compatible. store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP1004-CUSA03506_00-GTATRILBUNDLEPS4You can get 3, Vide City and San Andreas. The trilogy is actually on sale now

I cant see Rockstar not doing a story mode for gta 6, they love putting tiny little details in their games too much to not do one and they know that exploring stuff online doesn't happen for long before someone pops up and ends you for shits and giggles.

Just thought of a shout-out that absolutely must be included in any future game set in Vice City: the Pastor Richards Statue. It was really a shame that we never saw it in the first game (I would’ve loved a mission to blow it up, and if done right, could’ve been a reference to the Challenger explosion, which happened in 1986). I know Richards’ voice actor died during the making of the game, which was why a mission along these lines was purportedly scrapped, but having the statue still standing as a VC landmark would be a perfect homage.

A problem with Vice City is that they’re limited to urban city areas. I know it’s fictional but it’s based in reality, and are there any forested areas around Miami? Maybe a swamp though!? Or lots of islands, that would be cool.

Or lots of islands, that would be cool. It doesn’t have to be a 1:1 comparison to the real life city. Take your inspiration from the major downtown landmarks, and add stuff as may fit. Like I‘ve mentioned before, I’d like to see a Disney World analogy in the game, even though Disney World is in Orlando, not Miami.

I expect 1:1 realism from a game where I can pick up a hooker, do her in broad daylight, shoot her, get my money back, then just hide out of the polices line of site for a minute or two to get away with it.

The last thing that really pushed me out of video games, was the online mode. If I wanted to interact with people I’d leave the house. Don’t give one single f*** about online. Pretty much this. I don't often play games online because my experiences in playing games online tend to be terrible. Playing games online is good if you're playing in a group with close friends, but outside of that, it sucks. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I much prefer to play through single player campaigns. I find it more fun going about your own business and exploring games on your own.

My experience with online is I'm always stuck with players who clearly spend many hours per day playing (at best I play games once or twice a week) and are on a whole different skill level, or with trolly little shits who just go around causing mayhem for the lulz. I'm far happier exploring games at my own pace.

It'd take several hours to travel between the three real cities represented in San Andreas (LA, San Francisco, and Las Vegas), so you can do something similar with Vice City and any other secondary areas they wanted to include. Florida's geography isn't nearly as diverse as California's (lots of swampland, lakes, etc. but also very flat), but they could still do a lot if they wanted to have a big area outside of Vice City itself. Having a secondary Orlando-ish city with lots of tourist traps and amusement parks could be fun in a GTA, as well as a rednecky area that'd represent the more rural parts of the state.
That and the Florida Man jokes are right there.

Yeah, I mean some type of map of modern day Florida which includes Miami beaches and Orlando ish type cities is a really good location Plus you can include little islands as well, hell include Cuba or something as its own place across the ocean

As charmingly 80's as the original Vice City was, a modern Miami-ish setting would work really well, too.

A rendition of the West Indies would especially be cool, as there would be more to the map than just Vice City itself, and it makes exploring the areas overseas more meaningful. Scarface did it to some extent, and it was a neat addition to the game. Now if only GTA did something along that lines and expanded upon it.

If it’s gonna be modern reference other shows and movies that take place in Miami like Bad Boys, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Ace Ventura or CSI Miami. They could also take advantage of 80s nostalgia as well.

Will we ever see GTA6?
