That crap was funny. That's what I like about the Daily Show now, it's not only about bashing our failed political system, it's bashing the unbelievable tamarity of the 24-hour news cycle.

God I loved that. It was amazing.
Then again, I love The Daily Show in general.
OR WAS IT...
...murder?
...I screwed that one up.

I still don't get Geraldo's accusations of Howard Stern having something to do with the deaths of these people. Maybe that chair shot from the '80's did more damage than people thought.

There's a clip online of Jack Cafferty asking Wolf Blitzer if Anna Nicole is still dead.

That episode was awesome. The line about CNN not going to commercial for 90 minutes to report the story, making it seem slightly more important than the State of the Union and slightly less important than 9/11 was funny...until you realize it was true.

They somehow managed to randomlly edit in the kid that got killed from get hit from a car, while he tried to jump it, supposedly inspired by the show jackass.
It was kind of uncool how they turned someone dying into a segment making fun of our right wing!!111 media

The Daily Show jumped the shark years ago when it started taking itself too seriously.

The Daily Show jumped the shark years ago when it started taking itself too seriously. Explain to me why that clip is so hilarious, then.

The Daily Show jumped the shark years ago when it started taking itself too seriously. That's part of the joke....it does take itself seriously, but what it's taking seriously is so stupid, you can't believe it. The seriousness is part of the joke.

The Colbert Report does the same thing(except to a more extreme scale)

Jason: "Of course you're not Jon, you're a pussy."

Last night's episode was pretty funny. First you have Lou Dobbs saying that they'll be no more Anna Nicole coverage, who then throws it to Wolf Blitzer who presents another Anna Nicole story, then they show Colin Powell's Chief Of Staff Lawrence Wilkerson saying about the latest White House patsy Douglas Feith "Seldom in my life...have I met.......a dumber man!"
You can't write this stuff if you tried, people.

She has moments I think, but she's definetely not my favorite among Oliver, Jason Jones(he had a really good sketch show, totally blew my mind to see him go from a small Canadian show to the Daily Show), Rob Riggle who totally surprised me because I didn't think he'd be that good when I first saw him, first impressions, ya know, and Dan Bakkedahl(had to look up the spelling heh), they got a really good group right now.
