It may have been the plan all along. After all, they did make the conscious choice to have two redheads sire two raven-haired children. Genetically, that shouldn’t ever happen. I imagine that it would have been more drama-filled had that storyline been addressed when Terry was still just a teenager and led to an entire arc if handled correctly.
