This one hurts. I’ve watched The Wire at least seven times. It’s my
favorite TV show of all time and Omar is my favorite character. The charisma and presemce he brought to that role is the stuff of legend. RIP

For those unaware, he also did not appear in but produced a movie called Snow On Tha Bluff, which is a faux documentary following a drug dealer in an Atlanta hood. Gritty af and very much worth a watch.
