All of this is amazing. My favorite is the Vince McMahon one, it's so lifeless and sterile and full of WWE-speak that it's perfect. I need a Lapsed Vince one. "Quite frankly...that son of bitch didn't deserve his song. I know what entertains the people. They're there for me."

"I’m bewildered by it. It’s like someone hit me with a 2x4, where a show just flat-out went for a freefall. I’ve never seen a show fall off a cliff like this before. I’ve been through dips, slumps, rough patches, but this is akin to an 18-wheeler going right off a cliff."

So, nobody else feels like this was just one big dog pile on one dude with a bad take? For no other reason than he was simply critical of AEW.
I don’t know. This whole thing doesn’t sit right with me.

This whole thing doesn’t sit right with me. I mean…if he were just critical, then nobody would have noticed. Maybe it’d get some buzz but there’s so many weird AEW/WWE bashing accounts it becomes white noise. The fact he tried to make it bigger than it actually was, capitalizing “The Suzuki Incident” and acting like companies put out statements for cutting off theme songs? It’s fan entitlement embodied in a tweet.

If I'm that guy, and I see a random post I made on social media managed to make that big an impact/become an actual part of on air storylines, I'd consider that a W

I mean, if you want to have a conversation about how Twitter only pushes the hottest takes on you and demands reactions we can have that conversation. But at the same time, like, I don’t know what else people expect when they put something like that out there? And at the very least, it lead to it being meme’d to hell rather than everyone calling for his death or something.

I doubt most of the people making The Suzuki Incident memes or statements are even aware it all started with one guy making a stupid, entitled hot take. It's just become a fun meme parodying these infamous moments in wrestling like the Montreal Screwjob.

I'm actually grateful for this. It gives AEW an avenue to address their f*** up by putting a comedic spin on it. The beauty of it is the entertainment value it could provide, which goes a way in helping make up for the disappointment of the Mox vs Suzuki match from last week.

I saw this on Twitter last night and had a real good evening looking at all the various statements. Wasn’t aware of how it started but considering how it did I would consider it the best positive way it could have went
I knew of Suzuki but had never really saw any matches or heard his theme. When it played at All Out I was “Thats a banger of a theme” and listened to it on YouTube. When the incident occurred I thought it was a bit weird how it cut off not realising about the crowd singing the Kaze Ni Nare…..Once I realised what I had been deprived of….. it’s now affected me. I just find myself looking up at the sky every night shouting “Gotcha suckers!” or just “Why”
But yeah I’m loving how this is turning into a storyline. AEW got a knack for steering into the skid

Plus the guy who posted it seems to be finding the funny side in it so no harm no fou;

Let's be real: if a gang of Yakuza went to kill Suzuki, not only would he be the sole survivor, he'd be the kumichō by the end of the week. I mean, Fujiwara is pretty much an unoffical member of the Yakuza himself.

There were quite a few people quote retweeting the original tweet and piling on the guy to begin with, but the meme has outgrown him and taken on a life of its own. It's just banter now, and not at all targeting the original poster.
I knew it was the Bucks!!

TBH I didn't even know it originated from a hot take. Just find the wrestler quotes funny.

I'll give AEW credit, they're capitalizing on this and using it.
But someday one of these people with special songs are going to turn heel and them cutting the music is going to be tremendous heat.
