Always give it a good 3 months of booking and then see where they are.

The show feels messy compared to before, but it's not boring, the weird ring names are great for us to joke about on here, and the InDex/Way segments are still funny.

Not on the level of prime 2014-2017 NXT, but to me, its by far the best iteration of the brand since it’s been on the USA network.

I haven't seen more than like 30 minutes off of the first show. But my main takeaway is that even though the CWC still looks like crap (seriously, put a dark curtain up around the walls, or something to offset the blinding whiteness), it's got a better aesthetic than the 'dad's dive bar' vibe the previous iteration of the show had. It's kind of like modern day studio wrestling you'd see from Jim Crockett, but without the actual studio setup.
I'm still not interested in watching, but just based on the fact it's more supposedly streamlined with what Vince wants it's probably healthier for the brand going forward. No idea if the same fans are going to watch anymore, but it wasn't exactly setting the world on fire audience wise anyway.

I like some of the new gimmicks, as corny as they are.
It has a New Generation type feel to it.
But it hasn't got a patch on the Black/Yellow NXT.
I am also now constantly reminded that what I'm watching doesn't really matter. Cause someone on this show could get called up to the main roster and they would act like they never seen them before. That bothers me.

It's a bad show but the kind of bad show that makes me glad I post here. There's always a lot to talk about.

It's great and quickly becoming my favorite weekly wrestling show. It's colorful yet edgy, balances characters and gimmicks with work rate in a much more palatable way and so far can never be accused of being boring. It's like the New Generation meets the Attitude Era and while it's a crazy juxtaposition, it's fun.
Even if it's not Black and Gold NXT as far as being classic match crazy you only need to look at Waller vs. Strong and Io and Stark vs. Toxic Attraction this week to see they're not shying away from great in ring action.

I do like it, it's a shame it had to replace the previous incarnation instead of raw or smackdown which I'm almost completely lapsed from, but it does have a lot of potential to get better.
Think once the new faces/gimmicks settle in it will become a little more palatable for some people - the amount of new talent right off the bat having released so many other people over the past year or so has been a bit jarring so I do get the skepticism.

It's "ok" but being my fav era of NXT was the prior one, it sorta feels like a slap in the face for the people who were really interested in it. It'll grow on me eventually.
I do really enjoy Toxic Attraction a lot.
