Enjoyed it overall, but holy hell the mod bike gang were COMPLETELY out of place. Everything from the Banana Republic autumn range costumes to the shiny colourful mopeds just did not fit. When they first showed up with their multi-colored speeder bikes in a previous episode I honestly thought they were straight out of some lost cyberpunk season of Power Rangers. They reminded me of the goddamn Neutrinos from the old Ninja Turtles cartoon. And I love Amy Sedaris but they really need to dial it back for her next appearance. Maybe just a quick scene of her marrying the majordomo.

You might be cool but you'll never be Riding a Rancor Cool Boba Fett is riding a Rancor. Your argument is invalid. Krrsantan shot a dude in the dick. Your argument is invalid.

I'm in this weird place of sorta enjoying it as a novelty but thinking it was paced like an absolute mess.
Two of the seven, and better, episodes were literally just episodes of The Mandalorian. Boba's characterization also felt... inconsistent at best? Strangely naive and moral for someone looking to rule a criminal underworld. Fennec was significantly more of an efficient, knowledgeable and focused badass.
The awesome variation of the credits theme felt unearned to me, because the dude got upstaged in his own show.

I didn't mind the Mod Biker people as much as some people. Their costumes were pretty sweet. Though, I do agree that the bikes looked kinda janky and their overall execution left a lot to be desired. By that I mean their CG was inconsistent at best and I really felt they needed to do more with them then just make them yet more muscle with a gun - Like it really felt like they should have done something hackery with the droids instead of the lame plan they ended up doing.
But I really do love the way they look, particularly their clothing, and the idea of people purposely getting droided up - I would wonder what a guy like the Mando would feel about that! I hope the ones who did stay around get to develop with some real dialogue and relationships cause they were pretty flat even for new characters.

Hear that ticking sound over that final shot of him? Some machinery gimmick is going on and the Seth Green droid is gonna save him somehow.

It was a good first series, but theyve clearly struggled to find a character for Boba.

It was a good first series, but theyve clearly struggled to find a character for Boba. I wouldn't necessarily say that. The character is pretty well defined – a lifelong loner with few morals who's had his "come to Jesus" moment and is learning to be an honourable leader – but the disconnect is that it's not the character hardcore fans were expecting or wanted (see also: Skywalker, Luke). That said, casual audiences and people without a deep affection for the old EU canon have lapped it up.

Finally got around to finishing it. Probably echoing a lot of folks here but I ended up liking it a good bit but mainly for the second half. The first half was very meh but it finished strong which left me excited for a second season. Part of that though is it essentially becoming the Mandalorian Season 2.5 by the end so I think they have some work to do a second season that's more divorced from the Mandalorian but I think they had a better hold of the characters by the end and we'll be past the backstory by that point so I have confidence that it will still be good.

I'd be down. Of all the problems the show had, Tem wasn't one of them.
