Or just let the monster win?
Also IDK what match the spoiler people saw, but that was quite fun imo.

I thought Abadon also held her own in that match well. She's only been in wrestling for three years... one of those was after getting signed by AEW. For that experience she's really serving herself well and killing it with the gimmick
She could be a megastar for the company if she keeps it up.

Britt's run REALLY needed this kind of match where she's pretty much on the run and getting the treatment. One of the best IC title matches I've ever seen.

The other thing is while rollup pins usually suck because they never look good... that one DID look good for the story being told. To me anyway. Britt forced all her weight on Abadon's legs and Abadon folded like an accordian.
Britt new she couldn't keep Abadon down with moves... so she had to keep her down for three seconds out of pure desperation. That was probably the only way she could think of as a way out.

Fun match, but no reason Britt had to win here. They could've hyped up this match on Dynamite and set a minifeud between the two based on it, shaken Britt's confidence a bit, but she pulls it out in the actual match since a normal match gives her more of an advantage. That's already more story than most of her title defences.
Alternatively, if you still wanted Abadon to lose, have her kill Rebel and attack Hayter, but then Hayter plasters her with a chair or something to save Britt after the "bites Britt's fingers" spot, setting up an Abadon/Hayter minifeud.
All that being said, I am very amused that of all people it was Abadon that finally gave Britt the decisively heel crowd reaction she's lacked for six months.

That match was WAY better than I expected given the spoiler reports. LITERALLY my thoughts. Outside of the stubborn ass table going into biz for itself (lol), the match slapped They're officially doing too much with Britt though. Who the eff not named Thunder Rosa is gonna take her down!?

Really enjoyed the match, really disliked the ending of it.

It is honestly this easy; Abadon wins after the finger bite (Britt still looks strong she just wanted to keep her fingers) The follow up you have Abadon lose via DQ setup a mini-feud with Hayder.
They have avoided the one above all booking wwe does with the men but are veering into it with the women.

Abadon just needs to keep working hard. I absolutely love her gimmick!
