So I sent my lady friend a text “Thank you for being my girl! Your heart is true, you’re a friend and a confident”. She didn’t catch the reference but boy did she appreciate the sentiment

I just finally got around to watching some clips of Smackdown and caught King Woods knighting Kofi with the words "your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant". I have no idea if it was noticed in the live thread but I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate him cribbing lines from the Golden Girls theme song to honour his good friend Kofi.

The man is a HUGE Golden Girls fan, so it's cool to hear he worked that part in from the song.

What the hell is with this season 3 clip show? The clips they use seem like the were from a VHS tape where someone couldn’t be bothered to figure out the tracking.

I’m on Season 6 now. First 2-3 seasons are brilliant, but they Flanderize the f*** out of everyone but Dorothy after the first few seasons. And then they’ll go all “in this special episode” and the characters feel real again.

I really wish I could find Empty Nest somewhere

I found that with Community. While there is some fantastic stuff in the later seasons, the characters feel far more fleshed out in the first couple seasons. Later seasons everyone just gets stuck in a single lane for the most part.
