M*A*S*H* but only really in between when Potter, and BJ jumped on, and when Frank, and Radar left.

MASH, mainly due to the character changes Charles is a much better foil to Hawkeye than Frank was. BJ is a much better sidekick than Trapper was. Potter is a better boss than Blake. You stole my answer. And Fresh Prince got way better when it went of the rails in the later seasons. It also helps that Will and Alfonso don't have to play the worlds most unconvincing High-Schoolers anymore.

Blackadder, season 1 is a rare pub topic where everyone is in agreement; it was poor. Season 2 is a massive improvement but still a little too much toilet humour and S3 & 4 (along with some specials in between) are where it gets it’s reputation for some of the best wit and satire of the late 80s.

Power Rangers during that late 90s/early 2000s period (In Space-Wild Force) where they were going balls to the wall with some of their pivotal episodes. Villains started to become menacing and more defined (Ecliptor, Darkonda, Astronema, Ransik, Trakeena, etc.), rangers getting thrusted in near death situations (Kendrix sacrificing herself to save her people, Wes's father almost dying due to Ransik's attack), dialing back on the campy/slapstick humor, and the Lost Galaxy episode "Rescue Mission" which was far different from the typical Power Rangers formula viewers were used to. Far removed from the MMPR heyday but the writers went above and beyond with these episodes.

The last season of Batman the animated series looks the best and has two of the best episodes, I’ll take it all day over the others

Breaking Bad. I liked it a lot better once Walt made the heel turn and was more involved with the business side of things, although I understand the setup and the character needed the time to develop.
Same with Better Call Saul. I understand the brother angle but I liked the show better once he really became Saul.

I like Natalie-era Monk more than Sharona-era. The last season of Batman the animated series looks the best and has two of the best episodes, I’ll take it all day over the others Not disagreeing or anything, but now I am curious which episodes.

Supernatural's a case, where in the first 5 seasons, each of the next season's were better than the last(2 better than 1, 3 better than 2, etc.). Plus, I'd put seasons 9, 11 & 13 ahead of the first 2 seasons...hell, I'd put season 11 in the top 3 seasons, behind 5 & 4.

Men Behaving Badly Season 1 and 2 are bad, dont even get repeated. I agree with the later ones being better and whilst I don’t think Series 2 is that bad, Series 1 isn’t good. Tony is a huge improvement on Dermot. As much as I like Harry Enfield’s sketch stuff, he just wasn’t right in a sitcom. Credit to him though, he knew he wasn’t working out in the show and left. The BBC picking it up and moving it to a later broadcast time and allowing it to be a bit more adult was a smart decision.
