I think it was Wrestlemania XV that he was in the background of another celebrity they were showing. No mention of Dustin was made. I think it was WMVI in 2000. Wwe RAW magazine showed a pic of him. Yeah, you’re right… it was in Anaheim.

Ed McMahon during the Million Dollar Mania era. Ed McMahon was still alive during this time and I think he was still healthy enough. He could have interacted with Vince being that they have the same last name but obviously not related.
I am wondering if Vince ever tried to get a hold of him to do anything? He could have introduced John Cena by saying: “And now, heeeeeeeeeeeer’s Johnny.” Of course, Vince will expect everyone to get that reference only to find out that no one probably will. (That’s the way Ed introduced Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show.)

I was genuinely surprised Insane Clown Posse didn't make an appearance during the guest host era. Big wrestling fans, personal history to nod back to with the Oddities, ability to perform and lots of fun personalities to recreate a one night only Oddities stable with. Violent J wrote in his book that he got a lot of heat with the higher-ups at WWF in the summer of 98 because he refused to look scared or intimidated by Billy Gunn because he had "Mr. Ass" on his tights, so if I had to guess, that reluctance to go with what was asked of them probably hangs over their name with the brass.

Going back to the comedian thing, the ones I was specifically thinking of are (the now deceased) Robin Willians, Sam Kinison, Jim Varney, and Chris Farley. I can see the first two having amusing interactions with wrestlers, Varney could bring his Ernest gimmick to the world of wrestling, and Farley would be incredibly willing to take bumps (minor ones mind you, he wouldnt go through a flaming table lined with thumbtacks).

The dude from Ancient Aliens Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch WWE Programming would suck me back in. Only if AEW booked him on commentary for the Lucha Bros/Los Super Ranas match so he could spout off about how they're turning the friggin' frogs MEXICAN! then have an(other) aneurysm.

The dude from Ancient Aliens AEW needs to totally bring him in so when Kris Statlander wins the Women's Title he can look straight into the camera and say, "I'm not saying it's aliens, but she's an alien."

Dustin Diamond. He was a big wrestling fan and doing the rounds on every reality tv show at the time. Keeping with the SBTB theme, I can't believe they didn't have Dennis Haskins host Raw in character as Mr Belding.
Jericho's book i think allueded to him being a bit of an oddball/stalkerish type

Didnt the WWE invite him onto their show during the Zeb Coulter angle? Be glad that he turned them down.

After working with Hogan in the Rocky movies, i'm surprised that Sylvester Stallone never made an appearance on a tv show or PPV.
Hogan/Stallone v Piper/Mr T at Wrestlemania 1 perhaps?

When Freddie Prinze jr was on the writing team I'm surprised there wasn't a Sarah Michelle Gellar cameo.

as Melissa Joan Hart even done anything since she's a big wrestling fan Not that I am aware of, which is kind of wild. Danielle Fishel is a fan, too, from what I remember, and also hasn't done anything I'm aware of. Speaking of, given wrestlers appeared on Boy Meets World a few times, I can't really remember them ever bringing any BMW people onto a wrestling show, which is surprising. Though, I suppose it makes sense in so far as that the reason they brought wrestlers onto BMW was due to having very similar demographics at the time, which is why they weren't concerned with WWF's image at the time. Maybe they figured having it the other way around would invite more scrutiny from Parents Television Council, etc, than it was really worth, and that it wouldn't really do much to promote the show to offset it.

Any of the Jackson family. JR has written/spoken about WWE executives having an invite-only annual pass to a bash at Never-Land Ranch and JR himself attending a few when Michael was alive.
I would've thought McMahon would have given a decree to close the deal at such an event.
A Jackson Five reunion/Michael Jackson solo at Wrestlemania would have been a huge get.

Closest we got to a Danielle Fishel appearance on WWE TV:
