Hey, did we invade the one for single people? I'm really full up of Valentine's Bashing. No one's MAKING you celebrate it. It's something nice for couples to share and not meant to make anyone feel bad about themselves. So, for the record, yes. It's a made-up holiday. But ALL HOLIDAYS HAVE TO BE MADE UP AT SOME POINT, don't they? Or else we wouldn't have them. What I don't understand is when St. Valentine's Day became a celebration of love. Probably about the same time that St. Patrick's Day became a day for idiots to get drunk & make asses of themselves. And everyone knows that Love Day in August totally PWNZ Valentine's Day. as of last weekend, i was kinda excited for valentines day this year because my friend was supposed to break up with her boyfriend last weekend (woooooooooooo!) but then she got sick, and shes still with him. remind you, shes been planning to break up with him for almost a month now.... She should do it on Valentines Day. That happened to me once. My girlfriend was running low on dramatic irony, I guess.
