Fake Diesel turned into Kane and had a hell of a career.
What if Fake Razor, Rick Bognar was repackaged as well? Apparently he wasn't a bad worker as Big Titan before he got the Fake Razor gimmick.
Could he have been something good too in the WWF with a gimmick after Fake Razor?

Maybe. It's hard for me to say as I didn't see any of his stuff as Big Titan. What I saw of him as Fake Razor wasn't impressive but then again he was trying to wrestle as someone else. He had good size and he was young so I think there was potential there if they repackaged him into something else.
Unfortunately for him they clearly didn't see much in him. You could tell how they booked them that they liked Jacobs a lot more and he was the one that had a much better chance of sticking around in that he got a much better showing in the 1997 Rumble and they always had Bogner take the pin when they lost. I remember in an interview Bogner saying that when they stopped booking him he called Vince and asked if there was any chance of him continuing to get work there and Vince said to never call him again. Ouch.

I like that he ended up in Japan as part of the NWO so the group had both versions of Razor, real and fake.
Guy deserved better than to be used as a pawn in Vince's legal wranglings with WCW, they never really seemed to want him, they just needed a warm body who could do a Scott Hall impression so the WWE could say 'Look, we're still using the characters we're suing WCW over!'. If he hadn't done a Razor impression in the ECW lockerroom, they'd probably have slapped Bull Buchanan or some other trainee in the role.

Glen was repackaged as a character that wore a mask.
I dont think Rick would have.
Or he could switch from Rick Bogner to Rick Booooooogs

WCW should have hired him and pretended he was Johnny B. Badd.

The Undertaker’s other OTHER brother that was thought to be dead… Richard Bogman, mild-mannered accountant from Lynchburg, VA.

Not the kind of guy you’d expect to provoke such a damning reply.

Not the kind of guy you’d expect to provoke such a damning reply. Could have had something to do with why he was hired. He and Jacobs were basically pawns in the lawsuit. It doesnt go Vinces way so he blames the talent. When all they were doing was the best they could in a dumb situation. Jacobs gets a pass because he is big and tall.

At the end of the day Glen Jacobs was someone that they liked much more. Bognar was just a pawn in the lawsuit.

i think the only way he would have worked is with a mask, no one really knew Kane was Issam Yankem, or the Faek Diesel so he worked well, if Bognar had worked under a mask then maybe he could have gotten over, but he could have also been another Sultan.

I've heard some of the Canadian wrestlers who Bognar broke in with say that they heard he already had heat with Vince and Vince circle because in FMW he was tight with Mike Awesome and Horace Boulder so they assumed he was also in tight with Hulk Hogan... and yes those are the lengths of hoops people in the wrestling business will jump through to dislike someone

I think post Survivor Series 1997 Vince saw the writing on the wall where his company's direction needed to go (like not doing childish things like bringing in a fake Disel or Razor) but pre screwjob Vince I can see him bringing in Rick to replace Rick Rude if Rude had left for WCW.

Maybe just a gimmick where he imitates wrestlers who are gone.
