if the $ is good.. he will sign. They wouldnt bring him in to make him a midcard guy, or to job him out.......You let MJF, be MJF and hes a star. I think sometimes people hate on WWE so much they assume no one will ever want to work there, or the ship is sinking etc etc....you pay anyone enough $---they will sign. WWE isnt going anywhere, they are making more $ than they ever have....

WWE isnt going anywhere, they are making more $ than they ever have.... That does presume WWE isn't primed to be sold off in the next few years. None of us know for sure what the story is, but the way they've been conducting business in the past year-plus at least paints that as a possibility for the direction Vince/Khan are looking to go. But yes, if he's offered Roman Reigns money or something that'd be nearly impossible to say no to. I just doubt they offer that much (also will be interesting to see where AEW's at contract offer-wise come 2024), and I'd still feel safe in saying purely from a fan perspective that he'd be wasted.

WWE isnt going anywhere, they are making more $ than they ever have.... If you saw a company lay off hundreds of employees in a calendar year with the explanation of 'budget cuts', & that same company's core audience keeps getting eroded each year, & that same company has cut down on it's events & tours, & that same company's higher execs have sold off stock... would you think this is a company in a healthy position?

Financially? Yes, they’re in an extremely healthy position.

Can you imagine MJF in WWE? They would neuter him. I'm sure he would put on great matches, but he really gets you with his promos.

Not a chance in hell he goes, why would he want to? Um Money??? More exposure? Wrestlemania? Like there is a million reasons why a wrestler would be interested in WWE.

He’ll automatically have 2 things against him: 1) he wasn’t Vince’s creation and got over without him, and 2) he gives the exact kind of promos WWE would freak out about when they try to tiptoe around their sponsors. If he goes to WWE, we’ll see an extremely watered-down, scripted version of him, he’ll be jobbed out, leave before too long, and it will be burned bridges and a bad experience for him and the fans. EC3 is a perfect cautionary tale. If EC3 is the cautionary tale, then what is AJ Styles?

I love that WWE is interested in a guy that was on their payroll at one point all because AEW made him look like a star. A star they HAD. Now granted he didn't do shit, but he was there under their umbrella. I love the irony. WWE would have jobbed HOOK to VEER I’m really not being hyperbolic but he wouldn’t have made it to Veer lol c’mon now. WWE isnt going anywhere, they are making more $ than they ever have.... You can replace lots of names in here with 'MJF' and reach just about the same core conceit as anyone else's troubles in WWE. Vince isn't the one watching AEW segments or scouting out independent shows for new talent and never has been. He doesn't care to see what someone is like and doesn't bother to learn what someone is like or how to book them to their strengths. MJF's whole identity wouldn't shine through on TV because it doesn't mesh with how Vince presents or produces his programming. If WWE were to let MJF be MJF? Yeah, he'd be a star. But the central conceit creatively, regardless of how much dollar sign they have, is that they wouldn't let him be.

To paraphrase what Vince once said about WCW with Bret. ''WWE wouldn't know what to do with a MJF''.

IF.. IF MJF did ever sign part of his contract would be creative control. So again IF he signed he probably would be used well. Not come in with a shaved head, Irish accent and job to whoever on main event. But maby who know lol They give him a talk show segment called Maxwell House. They'd give him this as a theme song lol

Would MJF signing with WWE ruin the Tensai gimmick?

Do it MJF. The meltdown would be delicious. As for using EC3 as a cautionary tale. EC3 failed cause he sucked. MJF is much better than EC3 in every category. They may not use him right, but he has a better shot at success than Ethan... Lol, EC3

Unlike 37-year-old Kevin Owens, MJF is somebody who I think TK will bring out the checkbook to match WWE’s offer.
Never say never in wrestling, but MJF definitely knows that he won’t be MJF anymore in the family oriented WWE. Scripted promo MJF sounds atrocious. Best case scenario he’d integrate himself into WWE well and be pushed like AJ Styles. Worst case, he’s Scotty Goldman. With “Alberto De Rio and JBL, but Jewish” somewhere in between.
The wrestling landscape may be a lot different in 2024, and I never say never, but I don’t see MJF making the jump.

If EC3 is the cautionary tale, then what is AJ Styles? Unrelated to the point he was making? And, even beyond that, 2016-2019 WWE where AJ really thrived is not the WWE of today. I’m not sure MJF would be content being a mouthpiece and tag partner for “Harland,” which is the functional equivalent of current AJ Styles if we’re being honest. The garish CGI Burberry plaid entrance would probably be so bad it’s good, though.
