Times like these make me glad I don't buy merch of any kind.

Cut ties with them, AEW.
You've got the money to run your own store.

Cut ties with them, AEW. You've got the money to run your own store. And I'm sure they can make a one time investment to get a warehouse that can keep turnaround costs down. There's no reason the second biggest wrestling company in the world should be taking a month from order to delivery.

I don’t say this lightly but I don’t know how you can honestly expect to remain in business when you just show your whole ass in regards to how unprofessional you are to the whole world like this. Screw PWTees and I will not weep for the company if/when they go under(now any employees that knew but couldn’t speak up under threat of being fired, those peeps have my sympathy, but the people in charge can can immediately waltz off to hell).

Honestly, this incident and the aftermath should be taught in business classes as a textbook example of how to piss away goodwill.

Most of the big name indie talent has merch in private online stores or Etsy shops you can find on their socials, there’s also deathmatch worldwide, highspots, and shopROH, I’d check out those places before I made a order with PWTees again. Might not have my first choice in a shirt design but I’d rather not give part of my money to asshats. I’m guessing the talent gets a bigger percentage from their own private stories too.
If I got a 22.00 shirt on PWTees what’s how much do the wrestlers normally get and what goes to PWTees?

I've noticed since the breach that talents are jumping to What A Maneuver clothing - whatamaneuver.net/twitter.com/wamaneuver

Hopefully a wrestler pipes in with an exact number. It also may vary from wrestler to wrestler how big of a cut PWTees gives them. What A Maneuver as a selling point says everyone with a store on their site gets $8 per shirt sold. Shirt prices vary, but $22.99 seems to be a very common price. Since PWTees is older and more well known than WAM, I’d figure WAM would want to give wrestlers a larger chunk, so WAM would be a more appealing partner. All this is a long way to say: Probably under $8.

I've worked in customer service.... I've dealt with angry people with legitimate grievances and some that were flat out assholes... I would have been reprimanded AT BEST if I said anything close to the tone of that "LOOK UP THE LAWS" tweet.

Honestly, if AEW just went and started their own in-house merchandise program, and most of the indie wrestlers that use PWTees just migrated roughly evenly to alternatives like What a Maneuver, Brainbuster Tees, non-wrestling providers like TeePublic, and opening a BigCartel and doing everything themselves, the disruption to the industry would be pretty minimal. Probably the big negative I would foresee if PWT went out of business is that their employees would be out of a job, and some of the people employed at the store are Chicago-based talent that work the local indies like Freelance Wrestling/Underground, Warrior Wrestling, AAW, etc.

Gun, meet Foot. Damn. Way to make it worse. Why would anybody ever use them again, because of the breach and how they've dealt with it. We may be watching the decline of PWTees

Isn’t the owner still very supportive of talent like Marty and Tessa?
