Bringing this up today as, while I can't post the shirt in question, What A Maneuver is selling and advertising a particular shirt from a "Liberty 76" account that's pretty much flushed the goodwill they drummed up during PWTees' data breach down the commode tout suite. It looks like Twitter is blowing up with people mentioning it now. I wasn’t sure exactly what the content of the shirt was, but then I went to the Whatamaneuver website and goddamn it’s the first shirt! If Whatamaneuver plans to do any damage control on this they sure are taking their sweet time with it.

A lot of people are cutting their ties with WAM which, from a personal perspective, sucks because I was really thinking about getting a TransGraps shirt very soon. On a wider perspective, yeah, I get it. They need to respond to this ASAP.

Between Whataburger and PWBreach I think I’m out of the wrestling merch world for a while.
Sucks because a lot of indie wrestlers make a good share of their living off of this kind of thing.

TG posted they were cutting ties with WAM an hour ago Yeah, they were the ones I was referring to. I meant it more like, you can still get your TG merch without supporting WAM if that was what was bothering you

WAM with a massive fumbling of the bag. At first I thought maybe the tweet was an April Fools joke that accidentally shot off a week early - then OOOOF!
Talk about not reading the room or knowing your customer base.

The original topic at hand was why I had to get a new debit card. I didn't get my notice from PWT until mid-to-late December. So, yeah. Never ordering from them again. Their response to people telling them that they should have been notified only strengthened my decision.

The impressive thing here is that like. Who the f*** is Liberty 76? I can't find any mention anywhere of anyone with that name, and I get they've tried to branch out to more than just wrestling shirts but if they let some actual nobody slap up a shirt onto their site that's destroyed their credibility when it wasn't going to make them a single dollar in the first place, that's one of the most pathetic falls imaginable.

My final thoughts on this before I move on. Keep in mind, I've worked in the checkcard disputes/fraud industry for almost 9 years now. Data breaches happen. They've been happening for years. They happen to everyone. People up in arms about card information being exposed for 7 months. Not to downplay that, but that's almost normal for a data breach. Hell, at work, I sent out lists to our member institutions for a few data breaches where the exposure time for card information was EIGHTEEN YEARS. A lot of data breaches I see, the merchant was exposed from as little as a few days to as much as nearly a year. Also, people saying that they won't shop at PWTees anymore because of this. That's also fine. But, if you're not gonna shop at a place that was effected by a data breach, then you shouldn't be shopping at Target, Home Depot, Wendy's, Capcom, eBay, Nintendo, Neiman Marcus, TMobile, Mariott, TJ Maxx, among a number of others. I'm not condoning PWTees' response, but at the same time, there's a number of merchants who don't disclose that they've been victims of a data breach. It just depends on the laws where the merchant is based out of, and if that merchant is willing to disclose that they've been breached. Some see disclosing that information as goodwill. Some see it as bad publicity that could hurt, or even kill, their company. Also, while WhataManeuver's bantering has been kinda funny, they need to check themselves. If this happens to them, WHICH IT COULD, they're setting themselves up to look like dumbasses themselves. While it wasn't a data breach, this situation is probably as bad, if not worse. So...🍵🐸

I thought it was a little obnoxious how they had to RT everything about PWTees after the data breach, but I never imagined this outcome of it all.
Bet the newlegacy boys are really glad they've started distributing as much of their own march as they have.

f***ing hell, imagine having a load of customer good will and a massive gap in the market opening up and you think, "I know what a good idea is. White nationalism merch!"
I look forward to to bring CYN's exclusive merch seller.

The silence is damning at this point. It's honestly incredibly disappointing and angering that they not only published the shirt (because they have a verification system in place, so this wasn't something slipping through the cracks or anything), but that the people who run the site have clammed up and not said a goddamn word addressing this after everything has burned down around them. Not so much as an apology or anything. It f***ing sucks, especially because it was a good retailer for people who either didn't want to deal with PWT or were marginalized and couldn't get traction there.
I swear, if there's a tweet on Monday Both Sides-ing this or saying anything about "Cancel Culture", I am losing my goddamn mind.

Given that we still haven't heard from WAM, I wouldn't be surprised if the dude automated the Liberty 76 merch drop and then turned off his phone for a vacation weekend or something.
If I'm right on this theory, imagine what his Monday is going to be.
Also, TransGraps has filed a Cease and Desist claiming ownership over her designs, so if he's merely hiding from social media, this is about to become a messy legal matter.
