I feel like energy drinks are more his thing than alcohol. I’ve been with enough wrestlers in my life to know the amount of energy drinks they take is also a bad idea. Some of their Twitter TL's could serve as official accounts for some makers lol

Yep. Tony's pissed off some people it seems. He had this to say during the "black bitch" segment on Wednesday, too: Lio is right.

I wonder how those wrestlers he name dropped feels about this as well
You shot yourself int he foot with black talent on this one. Not permanently but like I said this reads like a black friends name drop and more importantly a stroke to his ego

Clearly the way for Tony Khan to show he's on the right track is to put the TNT title on a PoC wrestler with no buildup, primarily feature him as an ancillary sidekick in a feud between two factions lead by white guys, then have a different white man beat him for the title.
No, wait, how about you put the tag team championships on a PoC team, give them exactly three matches on Dynamite over the following four months, and have all these be losses against a team of white men who appear on the main show nearly every week?
Or maybe you have a Latina woman beat a white woman in a spectacular, acclaimed match, use the hype from it to push the white woman to the top of her division and heavily feature her, and basically ignore the Latina woman for the rest of the year other than the vague promise that she'll get an angle out of it in 2022?

Yeah, there's really just no excuse for this one. He needs to delete and apologize. It's embarrassing. Not only delete and apologize, but actually take Swole's criticisms to heart as a way to improve the company. Being the son of a billionaire means he won’t being doing any of that.

Yep. Tony's pissed off some people it seems. Well we're gonna get change whether Tony likes it or not by the sound of things. Might as well have this happen now so you can literally go into 2022 with a fresher state of mind and direction, at least I would hope that's what this leads to Probably need to have a talent meeting to work things over the next time they're all together, even then it's 2021 so like, get a Zoom call together.

That’s the kind of response tweet I’d expect from another billionaire who had been involved in wrestling.

Britt Baker retweeted Khans tweet. She's clearly ingested too much local anesthetic from her dentistry work. Honestly the way I feel abrout Britt is the same way I feel when someone like Cena bats for the company in some really bad cases. You are the chosen one and you had more privelege than anyone else in there, you really have no room to speak (that applies to the case of race too,so a double whammy)

Not permanently but like I said this reads like a black friends name drop and more importantly a stroke to his ego Like, two things he should do is delete the tweet and apologize and then have a backstage meeting with all the talent and apologize to them face to face. Have it be an open meeting where they can air grievances and use 2022 as a fresh coat of paint. Like you said, it’s not permanent but with potential free agents on the horizon and your talent speaking out, you want to solve it and not let it fester at all.

Ol' Tony "Foot in His Mouth" Khan strikes again. Somebody needs to remind him that he doesn't need to publicly respond to every criticism of him.

Not permanently but like I said this reads like a black friends name drop and more importantly a stroke to his ego Yep. Black talent will look at this and think differently about him and well, AEW as a whole. This was dumb of him. That's not to say they won't wanna sign but when you see someone like Swole voicing her displeasure over how you're treating them and he responds like that? Like, nah that's an L. Tony looks like a dumbasses. I'm not surprised though. I've said from the jump that dude's got some flaws but we haven't seen them yet and here we go with this where a flaw's shown. He doesn't see an issue and he's mouthing off because he's "the new cool kid on the block" without looking at the repercussions of it. He got high off his own supply and now he's saying this stuff. First he said that shit about the women and now he's saying this about black talent. Sounds to me that he's saying it to people who doesn't look like him. That's just going to bring negativity and that's not what AEW needs.

Britt Baker retweeting that is very telling about her. I would rather think she is ignorant than anything else. Its easy to miss the point from an Ivory Tower
