Just one of the many thoughts swirling in my mind from today's news. What makes Betty's passing hurt more is there's no one like her. And no one who cares enough to be like her.
And in today's world, we really need someone like that.

Depends on how you view things. Lebron James donates so much money, it's a bit mind-blowing. There's a school that he literally donates a million to every year.

Too bad it seems like she is no longer one we can all agree on. As certain people got pissy for her saying something last year. This is where the world sucks right now (not directed at you) but people say something that many disagree with or feel it’s not directly 100% on their side and they let that erase a lifetime of good work. If you look up what she’s done/given she should be considered a saint. |

It's going to sound odd, but Mr. T. I'm serious, the guy does tons of charity work, is incredibly humble (his HOF speech where he kept talking about his mother gets mocked, but it was nice that he didnt make it all about himself, and he also dropped his gold jewelry after Hurricane Katrina), has a sense of humor about himself (the warcraft commercial), and took his image as a role model seriously, Sure, George Peppard didnt get along with him, but aside from that I've never heard bad things about him.

Saw a recent interview with Billy Connolly, sadly Parkinsons means he can't do stand up anymore but still insanely sharp, witty and intelligent sounding. No skeletons that I know of, the way he treated the interviewer who I'd never heard of was cool, made it seem like a two way conversation and I think its pretty likely he has strong "culture war/current state of comedy" opinions but he's decided whatever they are to keep them to himself.
