18. Streets of Rage 2
I felt like playing this. I will say that I played it on Hard mode (although there is "Hardest" mode) and I got far, but because I know I was on the verge of game over, I used the other controller to play while the "other player" died. I might do the same with the first game because I hardly get that far in that one.

7. Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Loved this game on so many levels, so much fun with the replayability and it got my son into gaming so it'll always be a favourite of mine
8. Assassin's Creed: Odyssey
I really enjoyed it and the DLC was fantastic and added to the story imo. The lore was well done and it looked stunning. Overall, 75 hrs on the base game and another 45 on the DLC but it was worth it.

68. Persona 5 Royal
Third time playing through Royal, in addition to one and a half runs of the original. This one was on the Switch, and thus another from-nothing run instead of a New Game Plus one; the two ways kind of have their unique appeals but either way, love having the game on Switch now, the console's a very good fit for it.
Love the game to death but it is very time-consuming, can see it being a loooong time before I'm wanting to run through it again, at least in terms of doing a fresh run instead of a NG+ one. Totally recommend anyone who hasn't played it to do so but it's most certainly a timesink.

.hack//GU Last Recode. The new Volume 4 is essentially an epilogue more than a true full game. Pretty short and it skimped on a lot compared to the first three games. Still it was a mostly satisfying conclusion to the story. It was also a nice nostalgia trip to replay Volumes 1-3 again.

69. Super Mario World (96 exits)
I'm counting this one again since it is a very different experience going through the whole game getting every exit and what I did earlier this year of using Star Road to beat it at the earliest opportunity. If only because you have to play Tubular to 100% it.

After a long hiatus, I'm back to actually playing games.
5. God of War: Ragnarok Overall, just pretty good. I enjoyed parts of the story and gameplay but overall it just felt rushed in some places and like their hearts weren't as into it as with the original reboot. 7/10
6. Sonic: Frontiers Not bad, the gameplay is janky as hell but the story and character moments were surprisingly charming and the Super Sonic parts were awesome despite shitty gameplay. 6/10
7. Fobia I got this for like $8 at GameStop and it served its purpose. Just an okay survival horror game with bad combat and okay puzzles. But since it had combat and actual puzzles that makes it better than 90% of horror games. 5/10

not too many but just off the top of my head
-Elden Ring (didn't actually beat the last boss but finished everything else. started 7 different characters though) -Mass Effect (was planning on doing the entire trilogy again but ended up being too busy and lost interest) -Shin Megami Tensei V (absolutely loved it and plan on playing through it again eventually) -Marvel Super Heroes for the PS1 (I mean I guess this counts lol. did a playthrough as Spider-Man) -WWE 2K22 showcase (not a fan of the showcase modes but I think the gameplay itself is okay)
recently I started a journey to play through all of the main Sonic games, so
-Sonic the Hedgehog (honestly only enjoyed Green Hill Zone and Starlight(?) Zone, everything else was buttcheeks)
-Sonic CD (actually my favorite out of the classic Sonics...not sure why)
-Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (really enjoyed this one until the end of the game. all of those final levels suuuucked)
-Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (featuring Knuckles from the Sonic the Hedgehog series) (it was okay. not a fan of the increased number of boss battles and just didn't enjoy it as much as 2 and CD)
-Sonic 3D Blast (okay so I started this and just couldn't find any enjoyment in it whatsoever so I skipped it)
-Sonic Adventure (janky as all hell but I still love it. couldn't find the patience to do Big's campaign and just skipped Gamma's as well)
-Sonic Advance (I thought this was a blast until the snow mountain stages. everything after just felt like it was designed to be irritating)
currently I'm bouncing between Persona 5 Royal (PC), Crash 4 (PC), Pokemon Violet, Sonic Adventure 2, Elden Ring and WWE 2K22

70. River City Girls 2
Been looking forward to it for quite awhile and been playing it on and off since it came out. Lot of fun, and do enjoy how much more dynamic a lot of it is than the first game - some very fun and flashy boss fights with really inventive stuff going on and I do think the simultaneously more focused plot yet more absurd tone works quite well for it.
That said I do think a major problem with this game compared to the first one is bloat. The world map is kind of just too big and there's too much in the way of them making you run back and forth and back and forth across it, which is mitigated a bit by enemies not being quite as bulky as they are in the first one but does still definitely make things feel like they're dragging at points. Was pretty ready to wrap it up when I beat it. Speaking of the whole last area and final boss fight is pretty weak, lot of great boss fights leading up to it but the last two bosses are very bleh and there isn't really a lot going on getting up to the ending. Feels like the game kind of peaks at the cooking show boss but then there are three more of them after that. Also waaaay too many sidequests that drag on for awhile, nowhere near wrapped up all of those despite consciously aiming to do so for the most part.
Still, anyone who liked the first one I'd definitely recommend the second. There's a lot to love about it, it's just kind of too much in some places.

8. In Sound Mind
Pretty good horror game who's story peaks early but kept my interest with solid gameplay and exploration. 7/10

71. Super Mario Run
Been years since I've touched it but I got a new iPad today so felt like a good excuse to spend a bit revisiting it to get a feel for the new one. Kind of same opinion of the game I've always had, shallow and probably not worth $10 but it's a fun enough time-killer.

A pretty good platformer that's also hard as hell to 100%. 6/10

72. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
Well, that's a wrap on how I've pretty much spent the last year on and off replaying these games. ... Other than I guess Ultra Despair Girls but we'll ignore that one since I last played through the main series on my own five years ago while that one was a lot more recent. Prooobably going to be a very long time before I revisit these again (other than maybe fastforwarding through the first two games for Xbox Rewards achievement purposes) but I definitely had fun going through them again.
V3 is a bit of a hard game for me to wrap my head around. I do like the controversial ending, like, a lot, and do think that if it is the end of the series (which I do rather doubt) then it's a hell of a way to go out. At the same time though it does kind of feel like the game presents all kinds of really cool ways it could have played out then discards them in service of where it's heading and I'm not sure that it's really for the better. Do kind of think that if there is another game then it really needs to be kept as firmly its own thing with zero connection to anything that came before it, but that'd be a pretty hard sell at this point since V3 was very much advertised as that and it suuuuuuper isn't.
Either way I do greatly enjoy it, though do think between how padded out it can be (coughcoughMonokubs) despite being the longest game in the series, some weak members of the cast, and some of its storytelling decisions I'd probably call it the weakest of the main three games even with it having pretty handily the best gameplay of them. Still a way better conclusion to the series than non-V 3 is in either case.

9. God of War (2005) amazing game and still so much fun.
10. Stray - quirky wee game and doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's a good game to pick on the PS premium Inbetween heavier games imo
