Should have called it a Supercard. That term makes even the worst wrestling event sound at least a little better.

Eh, I don't mind them getting away from the term pay-per-view, but there's something about the term 'premium' which just sounds a little off. 'Special Event'? 'Monthly Supercard'? Maybe one of their 70,000 writers can come uo with something.

Do people really think the WWE is gonna pay him a million dollars for it? Or anything for that matter. Considering how many wrestlers they have cut due to "budget reason". They will just come up with something else.

Pay Per View made sense, when you know, everyone paid per view. When these events are available as part of a subscription service, that term really is outdated. Yeah, I totally get the logic of trying to get rid of the super outdated term in favor of something that adequately reflects how people actually watch the shows, but replacing it with something as clunky and awkward as "premium live event" just isn't going to happen. I think they could probably drop the "live" words and do okay. They could also say "premiere event" and it would feel decent. Something with one adjective next to "event" would be the way to go instead of having more than double the syllables of "pay-per-view."

I wonder if "premium live events" are guaranteed to be "Wrestlemania equivalent or better".

Yeah, a substitute for PPV is fine but this is just awkward. Don’t nobody be putting on the “Premium Live Event” for the hoes, come on now.

I find it funny that they continuously called it a premium live event, while the Day 1 graphic had the words Pay Per View right on it.

Kinda reeks of a Vince whim, something that he came up right before the event they didn't have time to trademark or get the URL for before they started using it.

"Premium Live Event" sounds just as stupid as "Docuseries".
