I am sure this was the plan from jump and AJ being the guy he is, is saying cool I rather see it through and try to help him get over Problem is, Omos just isn't good. AJ made that man shine like a Diamond and credit to WWE for booking him to his strengths for a long time but he has no real upward trajectory. His best bet is to be put back in a team but his best role is to just be an enforcer for someone. Worst come to worst they probably put him with Azeez and Apollo Yeah, pretty much, or put him with MVP and just hope he can make people give a shit about him. Putting him with MVP is not a bad idea At the very least, Lashley is going make sure Omos knows how to get his shit in tho if you intend to put MVP back in the ring at some point, you can use Omos to do all the dirty work Either way, this man is not meant to be by himself

Dude's just not good right now. Man is only 27 so that's good but f***. Yeah, I know it's shocking but he's 27. He's lived a life I can tell. Man looks like he grew up trying to be Chris from the Young Gunz.
On a serious tip, but it's not his fault he's not great. Strowman had Undertaker, Luke, Rowan, Big Show, Mark Henry and Kane all help him through the years to be great. All big dudes who taught him the business, taught him the big guy style and taught him the legacy. Omos got nobody like that, he just got AJ and AJ for as dope as he is doesn't work like him nor does he know how it is to big, like to be that big and move around? AJ doesn't know the basic stuff like that because he's never lived like that. It just doesn't work. Shoutout to Omos but man, this ain't it. He needs help and he needs like an extra year to develop.
And his favorite rapper is Freeway. Imma end with that.

It's just a terrible sign that Omos has gotten signature wins over Riddle and AJ and the crowd does not care about him at all. Like few guys get consistently clean wins over established names like he has and it hasn't meant anything so far. *Remembers when they gave Tensai wins over John Cena and CM Punk to no avail*

I had to look up Azeez’ s age and he’s 33.

I mean, if you want to get someone over this is the best way to do it and AJ can and will survive it 6 months from now it will be like it never happened with AJ getting his W's back multiple times by then AJ's credibility isn't in question, honestly, like if he beat Brock tomorrow in a match, people would be surprised, but not outraged or anything. It's just difficult in that, yeah, this is obviously an accolade for Omos, but fans are just pretty indifferent to the guy. I feel a little bad for him, I'm sure he's doing his best, but he's just lacking. Maybe a good manager would help him out, but as it stands, even if he's maybe the best bet between Shanky, Azeez, and himself, that's a bit like being the world's heaviest feather. Also AJ has heavily implied he might retire after his current contract is up. I think many fans just want him to do better things against better opponents than this.

It really isn’t about AJ at all. He should be helping people get over. Problem is, nobody is getting Omos over. If they hadn’t fired Jonah(Bronson Reed) or Keith Lee and put them in the spot to have AJ Styles put them over, think about what you would have. Instead you have a really tall tomato can who isn’t going to do anything. Strowman seems like a workrate guy compared to Omos & Azeez.

I get why a promoter would try with Omos, given his size and age. He even looks at least... decent. I have a way harder time trying to see the value in Azeez or Shanky, Azeez in particular. Still, Omos at that size is virtually impossible for most guys to have a good match with even if Omos was up to part, and he just isn't. He makes Giant-era Paul Wight look like mid-2000s, actually aware of what he's doing Paul Wight. And yeah, even if there's a decent chance Braun was making almost as much, or maybe even more, than all three of those combined, he was probably worth it, certainly by comparison, and even if he is in his late 30s.

I remember Hall and Nash doing interviews saying they both worked with Omos at the PC while he was still doing NXT house shows, and Scott said he was even an agent for one of Omos NXT matches.
Learning from Hall and Nash on how to work big man style, Omos should be better than he is. Maybe he is better and it’s just the way the agents are laying out his matches. Who knows? I’m not impressed though.

Yeah put him with Apollo and Azeez for the love of god. Have them team up so that even if the tag matches are trash, we don't have to suffer Azeez vs. Omos

That’s the way to at least try to get the guy over. This won’t hurt AJ a bit and he can move on to a feature singles match at Mania. And Omos has potential, he seems to move around better than Khali, Azeez and many his size but he’s definitely not on Braun’s level yet. If he’s only 27 then there’s definitely still time for him to develop further.

Omos is like back in the day when guys got hired cause they were tall and nothing else. Makes me think of that Mitch Hedberg quote "I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to too." "I used to hire guys just cause they were tall. I still do, but I used to too."

Somebody wake me when Omos shows up wearing either the El Gigante bodysuit or covered in YETAAAAAY toilet paper. This reminds me of Paul London talking about a pitch he made back in the day of doing an angle where he finds the Giant Gonzalez bodysuit at the WWE warehouse and starts wearing it for his matches ‘inheriting its’ powers’ and going on a huge win streak. The greatest storyline that never was. ☹️
