I love that this match is the culmination of the feud, with each Dark Order match having led to this, with callbacks. Also details like Hangman getting out of the LeBell Lock because Bryan lost his grip because Hangman was slick with blood, something I'm surprised the commentators missed, or maybe I am misinterpreting how Bryan lost the hold. I do wonder what's next. Bryan lost, dead to rights, in the middle of the ring. Maybe he'll try to cite judge scores, or maybe he'll take it out on someone. It's also not impossible that he takes a bit of time off to recuperate given the blood loss, and just to sell his defeat. I think Danielson takes a hot second off and comes back in a feud with a heel. Bodyslam, which had the Danielson news first, is saying Mox's return is imminent, so I could see them going back to Mox/Hangman. GCW's got their Hammerstein show in two weeks and they just had a match to set up the #1 contender for their belt, which is held by Mox, so it seems to support that theory. Possibly so, though by that token, I don't think it's impossible Mox and Bryan get into a feud, though if they do, I hope they tread carefully. Bryan calling him "undisciplined" or something would be about as close as I'd want to heel Bryan commenting on Moxley's private life, just since A. it would fit Bryan's character, and B. it's not like fans would need more than that, we can connect the dots. That said, Moxley vs Hangman would be very good, too, naturally. I just wonder if they want to put fans in a position of picking a favorite at this juncture.

I don't even know why it slipped my mind that of course Mox probably needs to be babyface right now. Mox/Danielson would be a blast. I mean, maybe they go Hangman/Cole at Revolution? I think there's a few different ways they could take it. I think Punk or MJF will challenge at Double or Nothing, though.

Cole works, especially with Matt Jackson and Brandon Cutler out with COVID, presumably putting the "Cole's loyalty" storyline on hold for a moment. Ironically enough, if if Brian Cage wasn't trying to rock the boat so much, this would have actually been a pretty perfect time for him to get a feud with Hangman, pick up where they left off in the past.

At the time I was fulling expecting a rope break spot or some kind of reversal, but instead he just powers out of the lock with very little drama. Honestly, though, I would have been happier if there had been no blood at all in the match.

They didn't say it, but him pulling back and Bryan losing the mouth, then slipping off the forehead, I took it as being due to the blood, though I guess it could be just Bryan getting overpowered. Blood just seems more likely to be, since both were pretty coated, Bryan especially.

It was the perfect rematch. One that built on the previous match while also going in a very different direction that set itself apart.

Fantastic match that is great on it's own, but is made even better when paired with their 60 minute draw. LOVED the way Hangman decisively put away Danielson.
Hope Bryan takes a couple weeks or more to recharge, dudes been firing on all cylinders since stepping into an AEW ring, he's earned it.

I loved how aggressive it was when they got into the meat of the match.

Yeah from what I remember one of the commentators saying Bryan was having a hard time locking the submission in which can be inferred it was because of all the blood, but if you want to drive the point home that's how Page escaped the announcers should sell it. And maybe it will come up later. it would be a nice way for Danielson to try and explain away his loss: 'I would have made you tap if I hadn't busted you up so bad earlier'. A minor quibble to a really good match though.

Wheb Hangman escaped the lebell lock my first impression was that it was due to the blood since thats how Bryan sold wih his hands.
It felt like he purposely made it look like his hands slipped.

On a slightly different front. Between this, and the two Wrestle Kingdom matches, I DESPERATELY want AEW and NJPW to make Danielson vs. Okada happen.

That was a tremendous moment. The ultimate “f*** you” Hangman could’ve given to Bryan.

I want this to be a lingering rivalry for as long as both men are in the company. I could watch these two wrestle every week.

It was better than their first one, mostly because they went out and had a completely different match than the first one. It was incredible.
