I'm surprised Bryan is leading. Admittedly I haven't watched much in recent years but after his title run ended to Kofi wasn't he a bit of an afterthought? Someone who was a late addition to a wm main event rather than someone it was built around?
SomI agree Ambrose seems more vital due to The Shield. No matter the booking mistakes it's always something they could fall back on.
Not wanting Christian was weird, they might not want him but reuniting E&C would have been cool, especially as Edge did Brood nostalgia alone anyway.

Rusev. I know he was criminally underminded and they didn’t value him, but I think he worked better in the WWE environment. He’s happier now so I wouldn’t send him back, but he just has never felt like a fit in AEW to me

In general? Ambrose/Mox.
For me personally? Adam Cole, Bay-Bay.
Even though I've checked out from WWE, I don't have cable, so TNT/TBS isn't a watching option, either, and I miss the old, pre-USA NXT (which Cole helps represent, to me).

For me personally Christian has been missed during the Edge comeback, would have liked to see them team up.

I went with Daniel Bryan. Much like Daniel, I'm still surprised they put him in last year's Mania main event. For me personally Christian has been missed during the Edge comeback, would have liked to see them team up. Christian would have helped advance the story, but he would have ate a few pins and then been tossed out by Jey Uso in the Smackdown Andre battle royal.

I'll shout out Ruby here since she would be immediately helpful to any of the three women's divisions.
