Bianca Belair went from winning the Rumble & main eventing Mania to getting jobbed in under a minute & on repeat to Becky Lynch after. A TV feud with Doudrop & now... This has been really disappointing because I feel like she is someone they could've built the division around, but....

Kinda interesting that for all the crap people talked about when it comes to Big E's booking he hasn't been mentioned once. Being fair a year ago he was involved in an endless heatless feud with Apollo, not much further to drop than that.

There’s a lot people named who started the year somewhere, had a rise and then fell back to that previous level. Belair, Cesaro, you could maybe include Big E as well. But in terms of a full proper fall, it has to be Alexander and Benjamin.

Would have probably been Otis if he didn't finally win a tag title this past week...
Cesaro is my pick Yet another month and change tease of them doing something more with a once in a generation athlete just to kill him and then kill him some more until he vanished off the card.
They only know how to milk him for a Mania moment (The over-replayed UFO on Seth and Throwing Big Show out of the Andre), shit's tiring as someone who has been a fan over a decade

Without a doubt Finn.
Balor was rejuvenating himself in NXT, having great matches (I don't like WALTER but holy shit was I looking forward to that possible match) and he was showing why he could have been a franchise player all along, and then...yeah...
again.

Real answer .. HHH
Its actually sad how good NXT was, and the crew he had for the Black and Yellow Brand is pretty much gone or will be soon.

Cesaro is teaming with Mansoor now as a jobber tag team, he's even lower than he was a year ago when he was Nakamura's sidekick.
Drew Mac was on the backburner but often presented as being a big deal even if they didn't give him big deals to work with. They've taken his position a bit for granted.
Most of the women have gone downhill in the last year (hi Johnny Ace and team) with the notable exception of Naomi who has had a storyline going for about 5 months now.
Cedric's probably the winner here though and I don't know why they're doing that.

It only took them like two weeks after Finn returned to cool him off and make him just another guy on the main roster. I'd be impressed if it wasn't so annoying.

It really feels like Cedric and Shelton are being punished for something. It's absurd how they went from being Raw Tag Champs and members of a stable a lot of people were digging to having the shit kicked out of them every single week. They are being punished for something. Cedric and Shelton were never supposed to have a lot of people digging them. They only became tag champs to make Lashley look better. Now they're being punished for getting over when they weren't supposed to.

Worst part about Finn Balor is he *literally* fell off.
And I mean, there's plenty of other contenders. Drew McIntyre went from world champion to "guy with sword", Cesaro is a recurring example of this, and basically all of the women not named Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bianca Belair.

I’d go with Asuka. She was Raw Women’s Champion, to not on TV (even though she may still be injured).

Yeah Big E hasn't fallen from where he was this time last year but that's because it was that godawful Apollo feud.

He’s around the 600 mark at this point. To follow up, here are the NUMBERS, the Top 10 most scored matches (mostly TV, some scattered non-TV when necessary) in WWE without winning a world title (WWE/Universal/World Heavyweight) from within the timeline of my Points Ranking Project (2005-now). Names in italics are those currently not with the company, numbers with asterisks are estimates based on a combination of the project and Cagematch listings as they have matches outside of the timeframe: 601 - Cesaro 581 - Cody Rhodes517 - Jey Uso 516* - R-Truth 500 - Jimmy Uso 491 - Zack Ryder471* - John Morrison405 - Titus O'Neil 404 - Heath Slater399 - Curtis AxelSo, yeah... Shoutout to some surprisingly impressive longevity for Cesaro, but a very unwelcome record is looming.

I don’t see how that constitutes a fall. Exactly. She clearly is being set up as the one who they are going to build the division around. The Becky Summerslam loss was dumb but it's clear that it was just part of a long term plan that's going to lead to her smelling like roses. Other then that setback she's always been booked super strong and heavily protected even after Summerslam and is clearly being set up to beat Becky at Mania. Like they easily could've went with Liv instead as that was the story that made more sense for a big Mania moment and would've given them a new star but Bianca is still clearly their girl and is getting set up for the big moment even though she already had her big coronation the previous year.

I give an honorable mention to Elias
Dude got his entire shtick taken away from him literally right as crowds came back, one of the most over gimmicks with a crowd in the whole company, just to give him multiple vignettes about how the old Elias died and a new one is coming... just for those to have no plan and for Elias to fall off the face of the earth.
Like it's only an honorable mention because Elias' stock has never been insanely high but he had a nothing broken don't fix solid act that always got the crowd going and WWE just had to take a hammer to it for literally no reason.
