My friend used to enter alot of belt raffles, for the knockoff ones from the middle east. He won like 5 or 6 belts despite only buy 1 or 2 spots each time. They usually sell the belts for 250. Well he got me a winged eagle for Christmas one year. Belt looks as real as the WWE shop ones, real leather, real metal and all that. Couldn't tell the difference unless you were an expert imo. Anyways, I keep it on a shelf, I don't bring it to shows or anything. I think that's weird. I would bring it to a signing if I had the chance to get someone who held it to autograph it though.
Always used to tell my friend when we would see people at shows with them, that they should be required to defend the title like the 24/7 title if they are carrying it around like they won it.

I have 23 belts... only 3 of them are official replicas. The Big Gold is a wcw belt from figs toy company and was the first one I bought. I paid 100 for it on ebay in 2003. The Blue Winged Eagle I actually got for free through an error between wwe shop and Amazon and I just bought the ROH title on Instagram through figs toy company for 160 because of a discount and a coupon. The rest are Pakistani belts bought on eBay. Those belts are really nice... if you have a good seller. Most have been good, some are ok and a few have been straight up crap that i had to get a refund for. I've never paid more than 150 with Shipping included for any of them. I was fortunate to find a seller in the u.s. that gets the belts from Pakistan, but what's pictured is what you get so there's no bait and switch so far from him.

I had a chance to get the WCW title in 2003/2004 (definitely after WWE had brought out the WHC because I was specifically looking for the WCW version) but the eBay auction got up to $200 and my budget was $150. I’m still so mad at myself for not finding a way to make the extra $50 work.

I can relate, I kick myself all the time for not putting out the extra for the old figures toy company AWA replica belt back then. None of the Pakistani belts I've seen come close to the quality of an authentic replica.

This is a hell of a bump, but I just got this off eBay. It's not perfect, but it was cheap, and has a real leather strap. With shipping it was 140 US.

Buddy now works part time as the middle man between a belt maker in Pakistan and the US.
Sure most of the belts being requested and replicas. But this dude has also made a pile of belts for various local indies. Think with shipping his belts are normally 200.
I am sticking to legit ring worn belts.
Had my Hoodmark/HeelMark belt at the last show sitting in a chair behind my table. Had 3 or 4 kids and a pile of teens wanting to get pics with it. The kids I let them get a pic with it for free. The teens ,since I knew these teens, told them if they bought anything off the table they got a free pic with the belt. Those teens bought up all the cheap Dollar Tree WWE figures I had.

I always wanted a replica belt either as a collectors item or a cosplay prop. I really don't get draping them over your shoulder at a wrestling show for hours at a time.

Are you the champion? Are you a fan of the belt? A fan of the current champion?
I've never really understood it but I spend my money on some pretty random things myself.

You should have defend them or risk Jack Tunney coming in and confiscating them after 30 days.

I have a replica NWA World Title. The domed globe one which is hanging up on my wall. I bought an ECW World Title years ago back when ECW was still a thing. I ended up selling it to some guy on eBay.

I cannot imagine ever having the money to buy one and using it to buy one. I would need to be stupid rich. I just would have nothing to do with it

I almost impulse bought the oval IC Title at WrestleMania SF weekend years back, but backed out of the sale at the last second. I was like, “What am I actually going to do with this?”

I recently got the Winged Eagle title for my mancave. I've always wanted one for display, as wrestling has been a big part of my life.
That said, I absolutely have NO desire to bring it to a live event and have something happen to it

There is no way I'd ever go to a wrestling show with one. However, I wouldn't mind having a really nice replica Winged Eagle or Big Gold belt.

I bought a knock off of the Big Gold belt off ebay and the strap is not great but it looks good so how much can I complain?

I have big gold, a winged eagle and the AEW title. The big gold is the only WWE replica, the others are Pakistani belts. THe winged eagle one rocks, the AEW one isn't great.
I also collect wrestling figures, so my plan is to get an IC Title and Tag Title and put together a case with the title and a few figures of the champs that held the belt.
