Was there ever any moments in wrestling meant to be serious but came across as funny due to the acting?
-Sgt Slaughter throwing a fireball at Hulk Hogan after WM7, His monotone reaction was comedy gold. "Ohh...! Oh help me... Oh God it burns..!" -Big Boss Man's cop friend telling Big Show his father was dead before a match. Big Show blubbering & was drooling/slobbering. -Kane setting Jim Ross on fire. His over the top screaming made it funny. -Triple H breaking Jim Ross's arm, The bone crunch sound effect was delayed.

There was a match, I want to say on Nitro, between the Nasty Boys and Public Enemy. For the most part it was a typical hardcore brawl.
At the end, one of the Nastys pulled out this long, skinny board and whacks one of the PE with it. It breaks. He hits him with it again. It breaks again.
The PE rolls out of the ring and starts walking up the aisle. The camera cuts to where you can see his face as he walks. In the background, you can see the Nasty Boy walk up to the ropes and throw the stubby piece of the board.
It bounced off the back of the dude's head. It looked funny as hell.
During a Freebirds vs Brian Pillman & Z-Man match, Jimmy Garvin had one of them in a chinlock. The camera cuts to a tight closeup of Garvin, who looks into it and gives a drawn out, "YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!"
Immediately after the last one, the other babyface's foot flies into the shot, kicking Garvin in the back of the head.

Main Event Mafia getting lured in to getting locked in a room by Aces & Eights so that they could kidnap Rampage Jackson is something I absolutely need to track down again but I was almost crying.

Mark Henry chasing down the Nexus and accidentally running past them. especially cause Like Slater does like a running pat on the back as he runs by. Also Wade being the only one running at like full speed.

Jericho deciding to do a Spiñal Tap reference in his entrance for a match with Wrath, but because he was in WCW, it actually turned into a real Spiñal Tap thing. A locked door is actually open, so he's gotta pretend it's locked after we saw it open. Someone checking to see what all the banging on the door was about. Running passed their mark and just stopping and laughing all while on camera.
There's a reason every band who saw that movie had the same reaction, "How did they know that happened to US?!"

I thought it was great fun when Vince tore his quads. I could watch that over and over again like we watch certain movies over and over again.

The Triple H / Orton house invasion also comes to mind, mostly for the 800 random people hanging around Orton's house.

The NXT Season 2 finale.
We all remember the rambling Genesis of McGillicutty promo, but the ensuing beatdown when Low Ki was announced as the winner was just as bad, with the Pros running in to try to make the save only to get abducted by aliens halfway through because they just vanish off camera (but not before Titus O'Neil no sells MVP's Helluva Kick for some reason), and then Alex Riley starts attacking Percy Watson despite them being on the same side.

In Impact there was a feud between LAX and the OGz. After LAX won they were having a party in front of the house with people from the neighborhood including little Ritchie. The OGz being angry over losing does what every tag team does after they lose, they tried to run over their opponents, only in this case they ended up hitting little Ritchie. It was so phony and the reaction from Konnan and the rest of LAX was so over the top to this day I still laugh just thinking about it.
