Latest One Hit Wonderland -
I thought this was an unusual choice because, 1. I always thought Nena was a huge star in Europe, and 2. I thought her story was already pretty well known.

I'm surprised because you'd think this is one of those one hit wonders he would've done a long time ago, because it's one of the most famous one hit wonder songs. Also, Nena is one of those artists that were big in their homeland/home continent, but only known for one thing in the states. (That's also probably why he didn't do this one for all this time. )

Eh, for a show like this you don't really want to front load all the really well known ones right away. After a few years of that you run out of the popular stuff and you're just left reviewing nothing but random songs that nobody remembers that sounded like everything else on the radio at the time, and your numbers start to suffer. It's good to keep a couple of rounds in the chamber. Although in Nena's case I would think it would be more of a "her story is pretty well known, what more can I add to it?" stituation.

A great video.
I do wonder when he will get around to doing Trainwreckords for "The Big Day" for Chance the Rapper, or "Man of the Woods" for Justin Timberlake. Both are obvious choices, but I imagine that those videos require a lot of work in a way that is tougher than a track review, etc. It makes sense he doesn't do them super often.

Could see a Man of the Woods video having some overlap with the review he did of Filthy since it kind of already laid out the problems with it.

True, but this one also feels like it REALLY tanked Justin's mainstream presence in a way that Filthy alone can't account for. Still, yeah, I can see why that would move it down the list of priorities. Also kind of wonder if he's waiting on Justin to release another project first for additional context. This is around the same level of time between projects he has largely gone in the past, but still, woof.

I presume that Todd is waiting for Justin's next project before covering Man of the Woods if only to see if he bounces back. he covered Witness because setting up residency in Las Vegas basically means the end of a performers relevance, it's unlikely that Justin is able to turn it around after MOTW as it was that bad but not worth making an early call.

I really feel there should be more discussion about that Dangerous Minds TV series with Annie Potts.
And I guess Todd hasn't been keeping up with Allison Pregler's stuff if he didn't know that Lou Rawls was on Baywatch Nights.

It's a very specific thing but something that bugs me a lot with Todd's recent videos is I feel like you can make out too much of his face.

I don't keep up with his socials because Twitter is garbage and Facebook is evil, is he planning on reviewing Eurovision this year? His takes on the entrants are always fun.

Luke’s version of Fast Car charting higher than Tracy’s ever did makes me want to bang my head against a wall.
