Roderick Strong and LA Knight are backstage at SmackDown. Might work a dark match. Yup. Wondering why the hell Io hasn't been tagged for a callup yet. She's doing absolutely nothing of note in NXT, and it seems like she won't be in the Dusty Classic either. They need to seriously call up some women now, instead of men. It鈥檚 a catch 22 sort of. Yeah they need more women. But they are also terrible at building up new stars. So would a call up REALLY help said women? |

Io, Raquel, and Dakota are all arguably ready to come up. NXT seems to have nothing of substance for the latter TK do and the former two have done everything possible in NXT already.

If she was on her way out SRS would have absoloutley broken the news by now whether she asked for release , contract was up etc. she is way too big a name not just for female talent for something like that to slip through the preverbial cracks. The rumble should be very telling about her future with this company though so we will see. |

Where on earth is Shotzi blackheart? is what goes through my mind every week. Honestly I would not be shocked if Shotzi is gone in the next round of mass cuts. Not that I WANT that kind you. But I never trusted the MR to know how to use her well, and they鈥檝e done an even WORSE job with her than I was expecting if anything. |

I expect Io and Raquel to be called up at the Rumble (they should be anyway). I feel like they don't really have any interest in Dakota on the main roster for some reason. I have not see any news on Io or Dakota but apparently Raquel is being held back in NXT (she was gonna get called up) because they need her to fill out the Dusty Cup. So and this goes to a theory of mine...she and Cora are gonna make it to the finals only to lose and then Raquel will put over Cora before finally getting called up so I would say around summerslam would be her call up. |

Dude. I have to say this again, don't I? Io in no uncertain terms has said she wants to be in WWE for as long as possible. Also if she was on her way out like you constantly seem to think she is, they would be having her put over everyone on her way out. Which she hasn't done yet. She's still the most protected woman in NXT right now. It seems way more likely they just have nothing for her to do in NXT at the moment considering all of the major women are in other programs at the moment. I also seriously doubt they are going to cut her either, especially with Asuka getting older, they'll probably want to start looking into putting Io into a more prominent role. |

It's been long established now that it doesn't matter what the talent wants. Io can shout it from the rooftops how much she wants to stay...only to be released tomorrow or next week. Meanwhile, Mustafa Ali's asked to be released and WWE is saying no.
With Laurinaitis back in the mix and Paul and Steph just about completely gone, the women's division is going increasingly back in the direction of model/actresses with very limited skills but oodles of sex appeal. Again, it's a troupe performing, in the end, for an audience of one.

I read that Knight's actually expected to wrestle. Not sure if it'll be tonight or not but man if he wrestled tonight on the show then I think he's getting called up.
That dude's like a white 2001 Rock. Vince would love him. He's like Roode if he had charisma, better moves and was just, well, better.
